As of today, HWB and Childrens Lifeline International has healed a total of 132 hearts.

Tri 4 Number 1 Foundation Inc.: The Race Continues

HWB and Tri 4 Number 1 Foundation Inc. continue our planning for the 1,200 mile ultra-run taking place this summer. This run will help raise awareness for congenital heart defects. We are still looking for dedicated volunteers. For more information, please visit www.t41run.com/ on how you can help out with our event.

All 14 heart patients from our mission this year have been discharged from Angkor Hospital for Children showing excellent recovery. Please continue to follow along as we keep you updated on the condition of our patients. On behalf of HWB, we would like to wish our sincerest gratitude for your endless support and appreciation. These hearts could not be repaired without your help. Thank you. From our hearts to yours, The HWB Team

Nayeli Barragan
HWB Volunteer
Nayeli Barragan is a graduate from California State University, Long Beach in which she received a Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Education. She became involved with HWB after traveling abroad to Cambodia through a CSULB course. What she found and experienced during her trip will forever fill a place in her heart. I wanted to go somewhere I could help as well as learn more about others in order to become a more aware citizen and future teacher. Since then, she has been involved with raising awareness about congenital heart defects. The mission opened her eyes, and has offered an opportunity to help a community in need. She looks forward to continuing her involvement by joining HWBs efforts to make a difference.
