Location New York, NY The New York Show Appoints DDB Creatives Across Globe to Judge 2013 New York Festivals Awards New York, NY, March 28, 2013 - DDB Worldwide, a division of Omnicom Group (NYSE), today announced its global executives chosen to represent the creative community at this year's 56th annual New York Festivals Awards (NYF). All entries in the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards are judged by a Grand Jury comprised of 400 top-level industry professionals from six continents, who select the work honored in the shows Shortlist. Also, for the third time in its 56-year history, New York Festivals has assembled 30+ prominent worldwide Chief Creative Officers to participate in a live judging session. The Executive Jury, including DDB New York Chief Creative Officer Matt Eastwood, selects ads from the Shortlist during five additional rounds of judging, which will take place in New York City on April 27May 1, to determine the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Grand winners, and the single entry worthy of being named World's Best Idea. For 56 years, New York Festivals International Advertising Awards has recognized the Worlds Best Advertising and awarded the most innovative work in all media from over 70 countries. Based on feedback from our Executive Jury, Grand Jury, and other industry thought leaders around the world, NYF recently announced a total restructuring of the International Advertising Awards competitions and categories. There will be 14 competitions designed to reflect the current work being produced globally, giving the awards show the most relevant parameters to measure creative communications.
