Chief Learning Solutions Architect Jeff Kissinger Jeff Kissinger is the Chief Learning Solutions Architect at Florida State College at Jacksonville. In this role, he leads a talented instructional design and media development team to create innovative learning solutions for the college's diverse populations. These include currently enlisted military personnel stationed throughout the world, including combat environments, and underserved students. Jeff has worked in many facets of education and training, including K-12, private industry, and higher education. Jeffs passions are emergent instructional technologies, mobile learning pedagogy, open courseware, and increasing access to quality learning experiences through innovation and research. His specialties include eLearning, mobile learning, social networking, instructional media, faculty training, elearning, articial intelligence, and emergent learning environments. Jeffs workshops and presentations on learning & technology draw a large, diverse following at national conferences. Jeff has twomasters degrees from the University of Florida, one in adaptive technology for special educationandanother in curriculum and instruction.Jeff's doctoral researchwas on the experiences of college mobile learnersusing e-book textbooks embedded with social networking.

Vanessa Carswell is an Instructional Designer and Multimedia Author at Florida State College.As an Instructional designer, Vanessa works with faculty to develop online courses for Florida State College at Jacksonvilles upper division Futures courses. As a Multimedia Author, Vanessa manages an open source Learning Management System (LMS) for corporate clients, in addition to designing and developing learning objects using a range of multimedia software. Her highly creative talents have resulted in the creation of life-like avatars, interactive quiz functions, and navigation menus for hand-held devices. Vanessa holds a BA degree in Workforce Education from Southern Illinois University.

Alex Dold Multimedia Author, Instructional Designer Alex Dold is a multimedia author at Florida State College at Jacksonville. He works with a team of instructional designers and media developers to create cutting-edge learning solutions for the Colleges diverse populations. He is currently planning and developing courses designed for enlisted military personnel stationed throughout the world, including geographically and technologically disconnected environments. Alex Dold obtained a B.S. in psychology from the University of North Florida in 2005. His interests include learning theory, social constructivism, hermeneutics, phenomenology, poststructuralism, social justice, videography, multimedia production, audio recording, and electronic music.

Vimal Guru is a Multimedia Systems Analyst at Florida State College. In his position he develops, implements, operates and maintains computerized multimedia systems and solutions. He identies customer requirements, denes system and software requirements, and identies scope of work and conceptual alternatives. Vimal Guru develops plans to incorporate new and innovative technologies and trends into online courses and academic support programs. He has experience as a Design Project Manager, managing 3D interactive solutions in various industrial applications; interfacing with internal experts and clients to create conceptual designs of interactive simulations; evaluating, deploying and optimizing the digital model denition of simulations; management of development lifecycle of 3D software solution, as applied to industrial simulations. He has also developed courses on Manufacturing Graphics and Product data Management. Vimal Guru has a Masters degree in Technology specializing in Computer Graphics, from Purdue University, Indiana and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, from Madras University, India.
