I used this to read more first-hand accounts of survivors of Sobibor. Although a collection, the entries were able to confirm what I already learned as true, not a creation of time and imagination.

This map is a general layout of Sobibor, which I placed on the website so that viewers can have a better image of the camp. Unfortunately the camp was constantly expanding until after the escape and revolt.

Blatt, Tomasz (Toivi). "Describes Gassing Operations in the Sobibor Extermination Camp." Interview. Holocaust Encyclopedia. N.p., n.d. Web. 11 Feb. 2013. <http://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/gallery_oi.php?ModuleId=10005192>. I used the information given and quoted him on my website. This film discussed how the gas chambers worked, and how the workers in Sobibor could hear the screams of the people as they were gassed.

I used this interview to get a better understanding of the escape plan. While giving the process in which the planning began and showing the how important Leon Feldhendler was to the escape, this showed how physiologically important it was to the prisoners to plan to escape.

I used this to get a better understanding of how the camp worked from a survivor. It specifically described the arrival of transports and the physiological affects they had on the Jews forced to work in the camp.

Web. 31 Mar. 2013. <http://iis.infocenters.co.il/gfh/list.asp>. The artist portrays Polish Jews as they come to Sobibor. Because they knew of the fate that awaited them, the Nazis did not attempt to put up a facade.

Little is known about the artist who created this sketch which was found in Chelm after the war. This sketch, though, offers rare insight in to what Sobibor looked like during its operations.

This brigade was designated to remove all people and items from each car of the train.

This also happens to be a first-hand account of Sobibor from a survivor and gave an insightful physiologic account of what happened.

Although it is considered a movie, it is based on the book Escape Form Sobibor by Richard Rashke, who did extensive research on the subject.

I used this to get a better understanding of the timeline of what occurred at Sobibor. The information on the creation of Sobibor and well as the destruction were of great importance in the Introduction and Conclusion portion of my website.

While giving me more detailed information into the dismantling of Sobibor, it also provided a portal into viewing filmed interviews of survivors.

Rashke, Richard. Escape from Sobibor. Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1982. Print. I used this book to gather detailed information on the camp and escape through the interviews between the author and the survivors. The author was able to interview several of the survivors, including the most important figures in the escape.
