All of us are special. What interests us, what we feel strongly about, what we are clever
at doing, what we have been trained in, what personality traits we have …. all these
distinguish us from others.

What this means is that you have a unique contribution to make to your community.
Not everyone can do what you do the way you do it!

That is why you need to have a good look at yourself before you decide what you want
to do as a volunteer…so here we go!

Use these questions as a guide to help you PLAN your service / project.

Don’t try to answer every single question, as not all of them applies to the service or
project that you’ve chosen to do. Instead, treat them as thought triggers to help you
plan effectively.
