Promoted through a series of progressively responsible leadership positions from Technical Sales Representative to President & Sales Director, Business Development for the Americas Region. Directed all aspects of North and South American sales subsidiaries, including key Account responsibility, supervising 50+ employees across 3 sales offices, 3 warehouses and a manufacturing facility. Prudently managed $80M annual budget. Created Continuous Improvement Action Plans for all departments; identified and implemented Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Championed multifarious costcutting programs, pinpointed production efficiencies, and led IT initiatives that streamlined administrative functions, logistics management and finance (e.g., DOS and Receivables). Gained extensive knowledge of BRIC market environments. Directed year-long merger of 2 production facilities (Pittsburgh, PA and Fairfield, NJ) into a single location within a defined $6M budget, reducing overhead costs by 35% and increasing production capacity by 25%. Effectively transferred and retained $25M in revenue when major customers relocated plants from the U.S. to Brazil. Cemented companys standing as shaped/round-edge wire sales leader in the U.S., capturing over 75% market share. Boosted sales by more than 40% by leveraging long-term business relationships and managing key accounts, sole sourcing agreements, technical sales, end-users initiatives and client retention. Reorganized companys Customer Service Department to deliver superior customer service at a 15% cost reduction.
