RAYAR MAHIMA

|| OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAYA NAMAHA ||

As told by Shri Appanacharya

Rayaru is called shapanugrah shakta: shapanugrashaktonyo raghavendrannavidyate!

Meaning of shapanugrah shaktonyo raghavendrannavidyate:

shaap means to those who oppose [ rayaru] , contemplating arishta to them giving a curse anugraha means those who are his [rayarus] preetipatra [ in his good books and gained rayarus preeti love affection] showing mercy on them and rewarding them shakta means samartha: ie is capable raghavendrat means more than raghvendra swamiji anya means any other person or equal to rayaru also any other person na vidyate means there is none

Guru and gurukies discussionQ) How is it that Rayaru who is doing gnana karya only is a yati and a sanyasi in samadhi avastha being praised as one capable of giving curse to those who antagonize Rayaru? A) Lord does it for him? A) Pradyumna rupi paramatma is doing this? Q) Why this misconception yati cannot curse? Even if it is clearly mentioned. Shapanugraha shaktonyo , when anugrah he can do and we all see he can even curse! Q) This misconception that yati is shantmoorty, sanyasa is about zero harm policy? Who has spread it? Q) If he is in samadhi he cannot do anugraha also? Why attribute anugraha then? A) IT may also be said he is samsh jiva, by one rupa he is in samadhi and with other rupas he can do loka kalyana etc? So also shapa? Q) Question why he is taken for granted as only anugrah karta moorty? Ever thought of him as giving shapa ? Is it possible? Q) If Rayaru a yati can give curse, should his bhaktas give curse to those who belittle Rayaru [and his guru]? A) Rayaru's bhakti of paramaatma resulted in naarasimha pradurbhava. . Qualities of Rayaru Remember Rayaru is one who is chiefly responsible for narsimha avatara to manifest. Narismha, that bhayankar rupa which even rudradi fears. Narsimha is very much pleased with Rayaru. For tamas he is atiugra. Note that an advaiti who did Rayaru seva for 10+ years for a tamasic purpose, Rayaru made him waste that time with no phala.. He drove home with the point that the 'anugraha' is for sattvik goals only.

Now if a person who has no capability to give curse if he doesnt curse one need not be vismit. And even if he curses it will have no phala. But if a person who is capable [no one is as capable as Rayaru in cursing] of giving curse and yet if he doesnt curse, means that is really a surprise. He may be called atyant dayalu. Rayaru is atyant dayalu "daya" is without expecting anything removing miseries of others.

RAYAR MAHIMA

As told by Shri Appanacharya

Meaning of Daakshinya - whatever one thinks speaks the same and whatever one has spoken, puts that into action, so keeping consistency [rujutva ] in mind speech and body is daakshinya. Rayaru is having dayadaakshinya like no other person. No one can be compared with him in these qualities and hence he is the best. If Rayaru would never curse such a word would never appear in Rayar stotra, its a warning to all tamas. o Should satvik fear? No, he is atyantdayalu, even if you make mistake he will forgive. But you should not take him just like a chintamani stone whose greedy possessor always keeps asking for boons. One must please him and get his affection, because that will give you all kinds of boons even without asking. Plus, he will give knowledge and hari prasaad. o If anyone makes mistake like Vishnu dwesha , Vishnu droha , Veda pramaana dooshana , tells pramana is apramanaa not a testimony to vedas etc such person will suffer badly even if he does kapat seva to Rayaru. Path towards BhaktiTreading the right path with complete knowledge of Vishnu Sarvottamatva and Vayu Jeevottamatva ... Even if one does 1000 heinous mistake a day, he will be forgiven and taken into arms with affection by Rayaru provided he worships Rayaru with clean heart and not with dual mind. Q) How should we worship or do stotra parayana of Rayaru so that we get his anugraha? A) Appanacharya has given a method to worship Rayaru to get his anugraha. Without this Rayar anugraha will not happen. Bhakya charan dwamdwam smaran divyam idam stotram pathet One must have the following, here is a small condition that appanacarya puts on all of us1. Bhakti in mind 2. He must visualize feet of Rayaru the jagadguru 3. Feet that is divya i.e. having vishesha mahima [extraordinary greatness]. Having such anusandhan is a must 4. Recite the Rayar stotra Q) What happens if one does such anusandhana? A) Tasya asukham kinch na. He will not have lack of happiness, one may have their miseries removed. But does that mean one has become happy? No, even absence of happiness is misery. So one will not have even asukham, Kinch na- not even an iota of it. Someone must just experience this to believe, this can be achieved by proper anusandhana. Every day will be festive and you will feel that you were never unhappy in recent times. Q) Then what more will I get? A) Appanacharaya has written so enthusiastically, there is more its not just misery and happiness. Acharya has written power packed stotra. Its seen in his style, he wants us to just experience, and words are not enough. People are so filled with miseries in their life they might have perhaps lost faith that there is something called sukha. But here Appanacharyaji wants us to go beyond that state [Can we A discourse by Chiraan Chidambar www.chiraan.com

go really? Practically not in the beginning, but the style is creating that enthusiasm its viral!] That kintu word says it all. Appanacharyaji says by the grace of kamalanaath and fructification of such grace one would get1> Istartha 2> Samruddhi 3> Kirti what type [ dig vidhita ] 4> Vibhuti [ aishwarya ] which type atula ie one which is incomparable great wealth Cycle of desiresA man has many desires 1> I must get this and that; I need this; it would have been beautiful if I had that these are called ishtarthas " 2> Then once ishtarthas are fulfilled, one wants them to be constantly with him 3> After that one wants them to increase day by day till it attains poornata a state of completeness 4> Then if he has had all desires fulfilled he feels he should have fame 5> If fame comes he wants it to be spread far and wide in ten directions- east, west, north, south, NE, SE, SW, NW, up and down everyone must know it 6> Then he wants wealth and prosperity aishwarya, possessions 7> Then he wants all these possessions to be unparalleled, nobody else must have like what he has 8> He wants animadi ashtaaishwarya everyone has desires Q) What does a man do to fulfill these desires? He does various gimmicks and takes shelter of humans whom he thinks are powerful. Then all these humans whoever he takes shelter and runs after, he very soon finds that they are incapable of fulfilling all his desires. On the contrary these humans rob his belongings and make him suffer instead. Then man leaves depending on humans and turns his attention to kshudra devatas and uchhishta Ganpaty etc sadhana. He starts to rely on smaller devatas. Even these cannot fulfill all the desires; they can give him some small benefits and after giving benefits push them into large problems. Some resort to rudra, bramha, durga, surya etc. and feel these are supreme god and perform sadhanas with desires. With that they get all desires fulfilled including animadi aishwarya. But then all these will be ruined in one single instance. Some resort to mahalaxmi aradhan, laxmi devi gives them all the desires, but right from beginning till end she gives troubles and then takes away the wealth. One can ask , manushya kshudra devata giving desires and these desires getting destroyed all by itself due to development of durgunas and thus this system failing is understood. As they are tamas devatas. Vishnu Sarvottamatva Q) Why should worshipping rudra, laxmi devi and others fail? Arent these satvik devatas ? A) The answer is Narayana is sarvottam [the only god ]

A discourse by Chiraan Chidambar

www.chiraan.com

1> Laxmi devi is his wife 2> Rest all devatas are his servants 3>If someone worships with anusandhan [faith] that these other devatas are supreme, this concept even the devatas dont like it themselves, they dont like their devotees think this way and neither these devatas will be pleased with such faith as they are more serious devotees of lord naryana. 4> If that be the case then why do they give boons to rakshasas? Do they give boons? No, they dont like to give boons yet!!! 1> if these dont give boons at all, then no one in this world will worship them thinking these are of no use . At all as they give nothing and are capable of giving nothing. 2> in order to make people worship these deities Narayana standing inside them grants boons to people who worship these deities. Q) If narayana himself gives boons by being them then what is wrong in worshipping them as supreme? What goes wrong? A) If the daitya worships these devatas as supreme, he gets boons [Narayana himself gives boons by being inside them] and then these daityas start havoc. So much that the very same devata who has given boon themselves gets disgusted with these daityas and as these daityas go against Narayana with the very same boons. They request Narayana to take away the effects of these boon and destroy the demon . Thus the result of not worshipping Narayana [as boons have been got as worshipping devata as supreme , boon itself will make him think oh why worship Narayana, I have already got what I wanted with this devata. So why worship Narayana?] And he starts insulting vedas, pramanas etc. and troubles Narayana bhaktas and perishes. So worship of other devatas as supreme automatically leads to Vishnu dwesha. And the very diety whom he worships requests Narayana to take away the effects of boons nullify it and destroy it. Why because one doing dwesha of Narayana and Vayu and still worshipping indra etc . Indra, shiva himself feel what is this, he is doing Vishnu dwesha , Vayu dwesha ," they curse him to perish " as they would never like their god to be hated. What is hate? Thinking somebody is better than Narayana and Vayu is hate and hence perishes.

RAYAR MAHIMA

As told by Shri Appanacharya

So tartamya gyana is necessary which diety is who? One must know so that one does not become subject of ire and curse of lower deities if by any chance a worshipper feels this lower deity is better than the superior. So thinking rajaru as ruju, rayaru as ordinary, ordinary mortals like s* etc as great is all subject causing ire of Vayudev. Thinking only Narayana as supreme and other dieties as his servants and in that order then only one becomes fully eligible for the grace of that deity and the boons or results of such worship will only give imperishable results. Worshipping Rayaru thus will give rise to such a grace [as explained above] and that will lead to complete destruction of dukha, absence of sukha will also be not there, one will have desires that are increasing & complete and wealth that is unparalleled, fame that is spread in ten directions, and Rayaru is testimony to it that yes this will definitely happen!
