NOXIOUS WEED LIST FOR AUSTRALIAN STATES AND TERRITORIES

Prepared by the National Weeds Strategy Executive Committee For Key to symbols - see individual States The first botanical name is that recognised under each piece of legislation. Synonyms should also be checked down the list to ensure that legislative controls do not apply to a species in another jurisdiction. Note WA uses Prohibited and Permitted Lists in combination with other legislation. This list is formally updated quarterly (March, June, Sept, Dec) unless a jurisdiction notifies changes at other times. Spelling and nomenclature are treated as ongoing minor revisions.
