WHAT IS STEAMPUNK?
Steampunk is a genre of fiction that mixes elements of fantasy and sciencefiction to create alternative worlds. Often, these are worlds where steam power controls the worldchanging our technologies and societies. Steampunk can be set alternate universe pasts or in potential futures. Familiar elements of steampunk include: robots, clockworks, and skyships. Often, steampunk has magic woven into the storylines.
