On April 1, 2013, F.L., Fr.L. and Fr.Ls son responded to 46XX Bessie to view and possibly purchase an SUV they had seen listed on Craigslist. The victims had communicated with the seller via text message regarding the address and time. Christopher Duffy approached the victims and asked them to come to the alley to purchase the vehicle. They refused and requested that Duffy bring the vehicle to the street. Christopher Duffy disappeared behind the home and shortly thereafter two individuals approached the vehicle. One individual pointed a gun at F.L. and ordered him out of the vehicle. He ordered F.L. to give him his money and took a cell phone and US Currency. Fr.L. and his juvenile son were also ordered from the vehicle by a second individual. This individual searched Fr.L. and took $2500. The two individuals then fled in F.L.s Chevy pickup truck. Defendant admitted to me that he participated in this Robbery by acting as the look out. He said his job was to look for police. On April 3, 2013, P.W., J.W., and D.B. responded to 44XX Elmbank Avenue to view and possibly purchase a vehicle they had seen listed on Craigslist. Victim J.W. had communicated with the seller of the vehicle regarding the address and time to meet. They arrived at 44XX Elmbank. They observed two individuals walking past their vehicle. These individuals then turned around and approached their vehicle. Devion Russell approached the driver side and the other individual approached the passenger side. Devion Russell pointed a gun at P.W.. The driver, P.W., placed the vehicle in drive and Devion Russell fired multiple shots at the vehicle, striking P.W. in the face and back. Several other bullet holes were located in the vehicle. The defendant admitted to me that he and the other individuals had devised the plan to rob the individuals who responded to the Craigslist advertisement. He also admitted to me that he had fired the weapon at the three individuals in the vehicle.
