Curriculum specification: Level 3- Applying process writing skills General objective: At the end of the lesson, students are able to know what free writing is, brainstorm together for ideas and write a free writing Specific objective: At the end of the lesson, students are able to know the guidelines in writing a free writing, brainstorm for ideas when playing build-a-word game, each group is able to list at least 10 words which is associated with the word birthday and write a free writing around 350 words of the title birthday. STAGE SET INDUCTION (5 minutes) TEACHER ACTIVITY 1. Teacher introduces the topic of the dayfree writing activity on the title birthday. 2. Teacher asks the students some questions about the topic, STUDENT ACTIVITY 1. Students answer the teachers questions. Teacher gives homework to the students by asking the students to write a free writing about 350 words on the topic given Birthday. Students do the task given as homework.
