What is CEFF - Certified E-Friendly Food?


Certified E-Friendly Food is an international program which was created to highlight and easily identify food without certain food additives - preservatives, artificial colors, sweeteners and glutamates. These additives were evaluated by consumers and experts as the most watched and undesirable. From 2011 is logo CEFF a practical tool attracting consumers when shopping and stressing the quality of food.

Whom is CEFF targeting CEFF (Certified E - Friendly Food) focuses on food manufacturers, distributors and food chains whose aim is to differentiate their products and who target on customers following healthy lifestyle and nutrition. To these companies CEFF brings a unique marketing tool in the form of an independent European logo with clear and testable rules. In order to qualify for logo CEFF manufacturers must fulfill the limited contain of additives based on CEFF rules (absence of about 70 additives). Manufactures pay yearly license fee of 315 EUR for each product that is allowed to use the logo CEFF.
