The User Manual for the E-Recruitment System is contained in volume-1 as follows:

Chapter 1 provides a brief introduction to E-Recruitment System. It
also details the hardware and software requirements.
Chapter 2 takes you on a quick tour of E-Recruitment System. It gives
a brief introduction about the general working features of E-Recruitment
System that you should keep in mind while working.
Chapter 3 describes the System Administration functions. These
activities are to be performed by the system administrator.

Chapter 1 - Introduction

CHAPTER-1
INTRODUCTION
1.1 Welcome to E-Recruitment System.
Recruitment is a process of searching applicants to staff vacancies in any
organization. To meet the demands of the expanding industry, Company ABC has been
increasing the recruitment of new employees by almost 20% every six months. It is thus
very important to Company ABC that its recruitment process is efficient, robust and
effective. The Recruitment process of Company ABC involves taking into account many
parameters under consideration in order to recruit the right candidate. It is key to the
success of the growth of Company ABCs professional services. Company ABC
proposes e-recruitment process is to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business in
the age of internet. E-recruitment

solves some of the challenges faced by rapidly

growing organizations.

1.2 E-Recruitment System modules


1.2.1 Login
User can login to access this application. If it is their first login they will be prompted with
the change password page to change the default password. Otherwise according to their
role they will be redirected to their homepage.

1.2.2 BGC Administrator


In this module HR will add an existing employee as BGC administrator. Further this
administrator will be approved by Unit Head. Both HR and Unit Head can view the list of
BGC administrator.

1.2.3 BGC and Compliance ID Generation


In this module candidate profile is updated with a unique BGC ID and each candidate is
assigned to a particular BGC administrator who will be responsible for conducting the
BGC of that respective candidate. Their schedule is generated by HR and candidate
details can be viewed by HR and BGC administrator on basis of their status.

BGC. It can also be edited and viewed by HR.

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
3.1 Introduction
This process will help the company ABC as follows:Reduces the burden of managing incoming resumes without losing candidates who are interested
in applying to a company.

Empowers HR to accurately process candidates profiles in depth in order to find the right
candidates.

Help company find new employees,employ them in positions that suit their
capabilities,promote their professional development and retain them in long term.

Offers effective means for tracking compliance with anti discrimination policies and laws.

Integrate work flows to automate information flow and multiple processes, such as the
approval process.

Rejected by Unit Head.

Employee can be converted into BGC admin.

3.3.1.3 Deleting Roles


No roles can be deleted.

3.3.2 Maintaining Users


Our module comprises of the following users:
HR
Unit Head
BGC Administrator
Employee

3.3.2.1 Adding User Details

Each user will be provided with a unique user id and password through which they can
login.

3.3.2.2 Modifying User Details

Every user can modify his/her respective password with the help of forgot password by
setting a security question and answer.
User Ids cannot be modified.

3.3.2.3 Deleting User Details

Every user is added to the employee table.


And employee table has a provision of deletion.

3.3.3 Maintaining Security Access


While logging in every user will be checked for its designation, according to which they will be
directed to a specific homepage. On every homepage they will be provided with their specific
functionalities.

3.4 Maintaining Inputs


3.4.1 Maintaining Login_G6 Table

Whenever any employee is added its user-id and default password will be generated and
stored in login table.
Employee will be asked to change its password whenever they login for the first time.
Also they will be prompted for security question and answer.

3.4.2 Maintaining BGC_TestAdmin_G6 Table

Whenever the HR short lists an employee for conducting BGC his details will be added in
this table.
Later this employee is approved by Unit Head.

3.4.3 Maintaining BGC_Check_G6 Table

Background Check is scheduled by HR which cannot be altered.

3.4.4 Maintaining Employee_G6 Table

Employees will be added by HR.


HR can alter CTC and Designation.
Employees can be deleted.

3.4.5 Maintaining CandidateProfile Table

Candidate Profile is updated by BGC Id and BGC administrator.


Candidates can be viewed by HR.
