12 VEHICLE IMPOUNDED? [ ] (Y/N) 13 INCIDENT DESCRIPTION / NARRATIVE: { On the listed date and time I spoke with V/McCormack regarding property damage near or at his home at 617 Lee ST. V/McCormack stated he is a business attorney who represents several companies regarding copyright infringement claims. He currently represents Getty Images, a stock photography company. Since representing Getty Images, V/McCormack has been the target of a smear campaign run by the members of an internet website call extortionletterinfo.com (ELI). The website encourages a variety of strategies to "fight back" or take "revenge" on opposing parties. ELI tactics include posting opposing parties personal information such as home addresses and family photos. The websites suggests that their members "pay a visit" or "stop by" the targeted subject's work or home address. The ELI website has directed specific comments towards V/McCormack and his law practice. The organization apparently took offense to the tone of one of V/McCormack's letters and stated that "special attention" should be aimed at him. The website posted V/McCormack's home address, which is also his office and posted his image on several disparaging photos. One image shows V/McCormack's face on a can of "turd polish." Another image shows him on the cover of a fake book called, "Copyright Extortion for Dummies." Since ELI has posted V/McCormack's information on their website, he has been the victim of several property crimes over the past year. The address sign on a pillar in front of his residence was removed. An exterior light on another pillar was damaged. And a ceramic pot near the front stairs was smashed. The incidents were unreported. On 9-18-12 at approx. 1200 hrs V/McCormack parked his vehicle on Lee Street in front of his residence. He returned the next day at approx. 1000 hrs and discovered someone had broken the rear driver's side window. No items were missing but it appeared the suspect(s) looked through his glove compartment. There were no witnesses and no evidence left behind. V/McCormack requested the incident be documented in case the property damage should escalate. -->}
