MISSION STATEMENT To increase sales, profit, margin, the frequency of the Customers category s/he is responsible for and in her & his respective area throughout the year. ROLES Implement and follow the Customer Strategy defined by the Company Manage, supervise and motivate the Customers in order to reach the objectives defined by Her/his line manager (Field Operations Manager and the Store Manager with the support of Regional Field Operations Manager n line with the Head of Field Operations) To develop the sales, the profit, the margin and the frequency of the targeted customers that s/he will be responsible for and according to the KPIs which are: Increasing of her/his own portfolio in sales & profit Activating the new customers of his/her own portfolio. The buying rate of his/her portfolio. Increasing of some specific departments according to her/his portfolio and specialization (Traders or Horeca or SCO). This objective can be optional and depends on the strategy defined by the country According to the customer demands, needs and expectations and to the store assortment, sell something new to her / his customer as often as possible To help the customers to re-sell what they bought in our store in order to support them and facilitate the re-ordering. To build a positive Company image and accurate date base as well as a long terms relationship To organize the customer follow-up to check if the commitments are respected by them as well as by METRO

Inform the Company about the Customer Demands, Needs and Expectations on the appropriate way (not only through the usual customer complaints but by concrete information KEY RESULT AREAS S/he will be responsible for the development of XX Customers in a specific area. S/he is responsible for her/his own portfolio increasing. The number of customers is defined by the Head of Field Operations Department. S/he will be responsible for reaching Quantitative (KPIs) & Qualitative objectives (defined in the yearly appraisal) S/he will be involved in the customer portfolio building in close contact with the FOM, RFOM who follow the Head of Field Operations instruction. S/he will analyze the results (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly) of the Customers in terms of sales, sales share of OB / fresh / Ultra-fresh / BOT, in terms of profit, frequency, average buying in order to propose action plans to improve the situation if needed. S/he will analyze the Basic Customer Data to understand the categories in which her/his customers perform / decrease or are non buying to propose a list of offers. S/he will collect and communicate the Key Customer Demands, Needs and Expectations and then s/he will have to propose solutions and alternatives to them in a short terms view S/he will approach the customer using the METRO selling technique and with a good and qualitative preparation (see 8 steps process) S/he will use all the tools and all the customer solutions that the Company provides S/he must respect the procedures and use all the METRO forms and reports in a correct way and in due time. S/he will have to survey the market (deliver inputs and monitor) in order to know what Competitors are doing to allow METRO to react and to adapt its Strategy S/he will recommend a course of action (not simply to tell) or inform).related to her/his portfolio situation S/he will have to work in close contact with the Store and especially with the Department Managers as well as with the Target Group Business Developer Trader and Horeca if they are exiting in the country (meeting, discussion, customer visits) S/he will organize her / his customer visit according to the priorities defined by the FOM. The customer visits have to be plan in efficient and cost effectiveness ways
