We make a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, to honor Our Lady and seek particular inspiration regarding the benefits and challenges of migration in a globalized modern world. Prominent speakers on the subject of Catholic teaching on Migration in the Current Times include Archbishop Gomez of Los Angeles, and Archbishop Berlie Belaunzaran, of the Yucatan and other Catholic leaders from the U.S. and Latin America.

Itineraries: Itineraries are prepared in advance and are subject to change at any time. Activities are planned and scheduled according to the best information available at the time. Tour prices: All prices are based on 2013 pricing. Canterbury Pilgrimages & Tours Inc. reserves the right to adjust prices should there be any significant increases in: (1) Airfare due to higher fuel costs, etc... (2) Ground costs due to possible increases in hotel charges and other costs due to the fluctuating value of the U.S. dollar against foreign currency. Deposits and final Payments: A deposit of $400.00 per person is required to hold your reservation of which $200.00 is non-refundable. Your deposit forms part of your final payment which is due 75 days prior to departure date. Payment can be made by check or credit card. Credit card payments will be charged an additional fee (3%) to process the payment. To make a credit card payment contact Canterbury. Ca ncellation fees: If cancellation in writing is received by Canterbury Pilgrimages & Tours Inc. more than 75 days prior to departure all payments made toward the price of the tour will be refunded, less $200.00 initial deposit. For cancellations received within 75 days prior to departure the following cancellation fee applies: $400.00 (initial deposit) plus any applicable charges imposed on Canterbury Pilgrimages & Tours the airlines, hotels, and bus companies. Please note that the amount varies with each tour. Canterbury Pilgrimages & Tours Inc. retains the right to cancel any tour up to the departure date in which case all funds received will be returned promptly. Baggage: Every effort will be made to handle luggage carefully, however Canterbury Pilgrimages & Tours Inc. will not assume any liability for lost or damaged luggage. Travel insurance: Although seldom used, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance (personal accident / trip cancellation / baggage insurance). Canterbury Pilgrimages & Tours Inc. cannot accept responsibility for accidents, trip cancellations, or handling of baggage not under our control. All categories of insurance may be purchased from Access America Travel Insurance. Gratuities: Gratuities to porter for luggage and servers for meals are included in tour price. The customary gratuity to motorcoach chauffeur, tour host, local guides, chambermaids, etc., is not included in tour price and should be extended on an individual, voluntary basis. Items such as room service, laundry, telephone calls, etc..., are not included. Responsibility: CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGES & TOURS INC. acts only as an agent for the hotels and bus companies or owners or contractors providing accommodations, transportation or other services, and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts and contracts issued by the Company are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which any accommodations, transportation or any other services whatsoever are provided by such hotels, bus companies or owners or contractors, and by the acceptance of such coupons, receipts, contracts, and tickets, the tour member agrees to the following and also agrees that CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGES & TOURS INC. shall not be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or other services or resulting, directly or indirectly from acts of God, whether it be fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities, dejure or de facto, wars (whether declared or undeclared), hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, delays or cancellations of or changes in itinerary or schedule, or from any causes beyond the control of CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGES & TOURS INC. or for any loss or damage resulting from improper or insufficient documents, and that CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGES & TOURS INC. shall not be or become liable or responsible for any additional expense or liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the foregoing causes. If illness or other imperative reason compels a member to withdraw after a tour begins, CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGES & TOURS INC. will refund all savings possible. There will be no refund for the absence of missing occasional sightseeing or meals. CANTERBURY PILGRIMAGES & TOURS INC. reserves the right to require any individual to withdraw from any tour at any time if his or her conduct is deemed detrimental to or not compatible with the interest, harmony, comfort or welfare of the tour as a whole. The companies featured in these tours, airlines, bus, hotel and other contractors, are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their conveyance. The passage contract in use by these companies when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these tours.
