Street Food All comparisons are lame, but based on some specific standards; we can compare eating in restaurants and eating on vendor in Hanoi. In the terms of traveling, street food has many advantages over eating in restaurant. Save money and time for the same dishes In a restaurant, the money paid includes seat, serving services, tax added to the bill. Takes time to find a favorite restaurant, sometimes you have to wait for quite long to be served. With street food, you have to pay for the dish you order only. These mobile stores are placed everywhere you go. Street food is not only a business but also a tradition, an aspect of Vietnamese culture. To understand more about Vietnamese culture, lets first enjoy a special food on the street. Refusing street cuisine means refusing an essential part of the tourist experience. Street food has become one of the most popular topics for artists and writers.

Will not disappear because: Its a strong tradition, a mean of earning bread and butter for many people. Its one of the factors that contribute to Vietnamese tourism attraction. Numerous people are enthusiasts of this kind of eating.

II. Mobile Phones Should children be allowed to own and use mobile phones (cellphones)? Context: Mobile telephones (known as cellphones in America) have only existed for twenty years. In the past decade they have become very widespread with almost every adult in developed countries now owning a small portable phone. Modern phones can perform a wide variety of functions, such as taking and sending photographs and video, playing music and games, and even surfing the internet. Their main use, however, remains for voice calls and for texting short messages. As prices of both phones and calls have come down in the past ten years or so, they have become much more affordable for young people. This has raised questions about whether children should be able to own phones, and if they should be allowed to take them into school. Schools in different countries, and within countries, take very different views on this issue. In some students can carry them as they like, as long as they are off during lessons. Other schools allow them

to be carried, but say they must never be turned on in school hours. Some (for example, New York schools recently) ban them entirely. Arguments: Mobile phones are safe for children to use we should ignore scare stories in the media. The latest research says that mobile phones do not damage brain cells. Even those earlier studies that suggested there might be a problem thought that people would have to use a cell phone for hours a day for there to be an effect. It is true that there is no 100% proof mobile phones are safe to use, but that is true of any scientific study. Mobile phones keep children safer, as it is easier for parents to stay in touch with their children. Through calls and texts, parents can know where their child is and be reassured that he or she is safe. And in an emergency, young people can summon help quickly. Yes, some children carrying phones have been robbed, but thieves are always after something new. Phones now are both much more widespread and security coded, so there is little point in stealing them. If security is your concern, ban the latest personal MP3 and DVD players instead. Traffic accidents should be blamed on bad safety education rather than phones. Children will always pressure their parents to have the latest thing; phones are only one example of this. Parents can always say no or set limits on what they can spend. With modern payment plans children can be given a set amount of credit for calls and texts. Learning to work within financial limits is an important part of growing up. In any case, many young people have parttime jobs so they are spending their own money, not their parents. There are possible long-term health risks from using mobile phones. Some research suggests that the radio waves from mobile phones may harm peoples brains. Because childrens brains are still developing, any possible damage to them is even more worrying than for adults. It is true there is no total scientific proof about this, but it is better to play safe than take risks the precautionary principle. Until science can prove mobile phones are completely safe for young people to use, they should not be allowed to have them. Mobile phones make children less safe. Firstly they are carrying an expensive fashion item that makes them a target for criminals. Millions of people are robbed of cell phones every year, sometimes with violence. Secondly, many children spend so much time talking on the phone or texting that they are less aware of what is going on around them. Each year young people get run over crossing the street because their attention was on their phone conversation, not the traffic.

Mobile phones are too expensive for children. Even if basic models are cheap to buy, calls are expensive and charges soon mount up. Many young people run up big bills their parents have to pay. A few rich families might be able to afford this, but for many parents the hours their kids spend on their cell phones are an uncontrolled expense they cannot cope with. Others are under peer pressure to get the newest, most stylish phone with all the latest gadgets. Banning children from carrying cell phones would take away these problems from

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is now a normal part of modern life, used by everyone from toddlers to pensioners. So children need to grow up making use of technology such as mobile phones if they are to take their place in society. Such use fits them for the modern workplace with its need for techsavvy employees with communication skills and the ability to work flexibly. In any case, children often have better phone manners than adults they are less likely to shout into the phone, more likely to text discreetly, and more aware of text and phone etiquette. Mobile phones are now a valuable part of student life. Because parents feel their children are safer carrying a phone, they are more likely to allow them to travel to school on their own rather then driving them. This promotes greater independence for the children, while taking traffic off the roads which is environmentally-friendly. Like many other things (girls! boys! the view out of the window!) mobiles can be distracting in class but this doesnt mean they should be banned. Many schools allow phones to be carried providing they are turned off in lesson. Anything can be abused, including pencils and paper. New technology always carries some risks but we should not be rushed into panic measures. Children got hold of pornography, gambled and bullied each other long before mobile phones were invented. These problems wont go away if we ban phone use they can only be dealt with through good parenting and moral education. In the meantime, parents can get phones which block inappropriate content, and ensure their children do not have credit cards to pay for it.

ordinary financially-stretched families. Mobile phones are a distraction from the real world, preventing children from interacting with those around them. Constant talking, texting, and games playing take the place of proper socialising. Young people grow up without good manners, unable to relate to those around them in a normal way. They also become fat and lazy, as phone use crowds out healthy activity such as sport or playground games.

Mobile phones are inappropriate in schools. They take students attention away from their lessons and undermine discipline. Rules about having them turned off in lessons are impossible to enforce students just put them in silent mode and secretly text or play games in the back of the class. There have been many cases of students using mobiles to cheat in tests, and some of students recording embarrassing footage of their teachers to post on the internet. Schools are for learning and anything which gets in the way of that should be banned. Mobile phones are open to abuse, offering activities which are very inappropriate for children. The ability of modern phones to display graphics has led to the rise of mobile pornography, gambling and even cyber-bullying. Most parents restrict their childrens television viewing and computer use, but it is much harder for them to monitor mobile phone use. Given this, it is best that children are not allowed to own them.

1. From what age do you think children should have a mobile phone?

In recent years, mobile phones have become extremely popular with young people. The age at which kids are getting cell phones is dropping, and many elementary school-aged children now carry cell phones. However, in my opinion, children shouldnt have a mobile phone until they are 15 years old, in other words when they are high school students. Firstly, in that age children are old enough to be responsible as they learn to care for their phone, avoid losing it. In addition, they are mature enough to know mobile phone manners, which include not using their phone in class, in a quiet location or how to use mobile phone tools effectively or st like that. Secondly, its safety. You know that the world isn't the same as it was when our parents were in school, its getting more dangerous now. When children are primary or middle school, their parents always take them to school and back home. But when they are 15, almost children have to go to school alone, so they will need a phone to be able to contact their parents or someone in case of emergency. Parents also can stay in touch with their child at almost all times. On the other hands, when parents let their children to have a mobile phone, they should try to set the rules from the start in order to make sure that their child dont use it in the wrong way.

2. Do you think mobile phones are dangerous in any way? I think mobile phones are dangerous if people use it while driving. Nowadays, using mobile phone while driving is one of the big causes of accidents, and drivers on mobile phone are as bad as drunks. Just like you put yourself and other people at risk when you drive drunk, you put yourself and others at risk when you use a cell phone and drive. The most important things while driving is that you have to pay attention on the road in order to drive more safely. However, when drivers use mobile phone, their brains are focused on conversations and not on their driving. So theyre putting themselves, their family, passengers, and other vehicles, pedestrians in danger. When Im on the street, I usually see many people who are answering or even texting on their phones, and they just drive motorbike by one hand. You can imagine that how dangerous it is! If something happened suddenly on the street, they cant have enough attention and abilities to deal with problems. In my opinion, I definitely think that mobile phone usage should be ban. If not people would be less likely to do it. In case of emergency or drivers must use mobile phone, they should stop safely, secure the vehicle and then make or take the call. Mobile phone is not dangerous. People that use them wrong are the ones that make the phone not good. 3. What would life be without mobile phones? A mobile phone is such an interesting gadget and it's getting remarkably smaller in size day by day and amazingly with all the possible applications on it. It has become a very interesting and useful machine. And Im sure that all of you carrying it everywhere, right? Now let imagine that one day your mobile phone broken, so how would your life be without mobile phone?

First of all, it is about the bad things. Life without cell phones would harder. You would not stay in touch with anyone at anytime and anywhere. I will give you an example: When you have a date with your lover, you would have to wait for a long time, because he/she come late or they are busy for a sudden and he/she could not call u. Or in case of having an accident, suffering illness, being lost or any other extraordinary situation we could be living, if you couldnt contact with someone, there would have problems. On the other hand, the good thing is that you will have more freedom. No one can disturb or bother you by a phone call or messages. No one reminds you to do something what you have done. No device can interrupt your life. You will enjoy what better peace of mind is. You will have more time to meet your family, your friends directly. It allows you to focus on whats really important; not get distracted with calls and noise. Dont think that you would die if you live without mobile phones. Before mobile phone came into our life, people did just fine! So let try to forget your phone at home just one day and enjoy how life will changes. After that you come back home and check for missed calls, messages.

4. Some bad manners for using mobile phones? Nowadays, mobile phone has become more popular. Everyone uses a mobile phone but not everyone has good manners when using one. As you probably well know, most people exhibit some pretty rude behavior when theyre talking on their cell phones whether its rude to the person on the phone or rude to the people around them during the call. I will list some bad manners: Firstly is that talking way too loud. Many people always speak loudly in public. Sometimes thats to make up for the background noise and bad coverage on the mobile phone. Everyone does not want to share in private conversation. So when youre out in public, try to keep your voice down as much as possible. Secondly is that taking calls in inappropriate places. When you using mobile phones (include talking and texting messages) at movie theater, it means you disturb people around you. This is really bad manners to spoil it for everyone else by letting your phone ring or hearing your conversation in any of those places such as in the theater, cinema, public library, at the concert hall, in a hospital, court room. So you should switch off that phone. Thirdly is that paying more attention to your phone than to the person that youre with . We usually texting messages or play games on mobile phone while were out with friends, co-workers or even people were dating. People can think that we dont respect them. Last but not the least that is uses mobile phone while driving. When drivers use mobile phone, their brains are focused on conversations and not on their driving, so they put themselves and other people at risk. This is not just bad manners, it is very dangerous. Dont ever converse with some one through phone while driving in the road as you may end up in a accident.

5. Why are manners important?

Manners are the standard of behavior, the way that words are the standard of speech. It used every day to make a good impression on others and to feel good about oneself. If the world didn't have manners, it would be bad. Let imagine that at mealtime, people would put their feet on the table and maybe even have food fights. How terrible it is! No matter where you are - at home, work, or with friends - practicing good manners is important. First of all, manners show what kind of person you are. If you have good manners, people will think you are reliable and responsible. If you have bad manners, they'll think you are a poor, dirty slob and a disgusting person. They won't like to hang around you or be your friend. In addition, manners help us live together in a small space. It makes interactions go a little more smoothly and be a little more predictable. With manners we can have a better society and life runs more smoothly, with less aggravation, and with less heartache. If you practice good manners, you are showing those around you that you are considerate of their feelings and respectful. You are also setting standards for others' behavior and encouraging them to treat you with similar respect.

6. What culture do you think is the most polite in the world? Why? People said that: The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Once you get into harsh situation, your personality then is revealed clearly. I will retell you one story about Japan. Since March 11 when the tsunami hit the island kingdom, Japan has been writing in pain and agony. The pain of its citizens is still played daily on billions of televisions around the world. Thousand of people loss of life, severe injuries, homelessness, lack of water, food and proper medical care (st like that). How do Japanese manage that problem? People always think that when people lose everything, things can quickly turn ugly because, well, theres nothing left to lose. However its seems not true for Japans case. Japanese have never given up. Despite the challenges the Japanese people have faced, they havent complained to the government, or angry at each other. As you have seen on TV and news, even after such long waits, when the announcement comes that fresh drinking water has run out, theres no swearing, no fist-shaking. They simply turn and walk away, hoping patiently the next supply comes sooner rather than later. No looting. No rioting. No stealing. Not even a good fight or two. They get polite, orderly lines, as survivors wait for hours to use pay phones or be handed a gallon of water. The Japanese people simply buckle down, focus on moving things forward, and work as a group to make things normal. Supermarkets cut their prices in the days following the quake and vending machine owners were giving out free drinks as "people work together to survive. They showed the world what a great people they are. To be honest, Im very impressed by what I have seen in the news, but Im not surprised by it, because that is Japan. It's the Japanese culture - very refined, dignified, disciplined and civilized. Japanese people are extremely polite. They bow, they address each other according to the rules. This does not mean they are wimps, it does mean that they value getting along with others. Once disaster happened, the Japanese don't see this as an opportunity to steal everything in sight. Its a very cooperative society in which everyone continued existence depends on the support of others. Its come from education system, social training. In my view, Japan is most polite nation in the world.

7. Whats the best way to teach manners to children? Babies are not born with manners. Manners must be taught by parents or adult. Teaching manners can start whenever children is old enough to understand their parents which depends on their development. Teaching children manners is also teaching them respect. They need to learn respect for others, for themselves, and for their parents in order to get along in society. These are the best ways to make manners, courteousness, and respectfulness part of your child's regular routine. Here are some ways to help parents that can teach manners to their child effectively. First of all, it is teaching by example . Children learn from watching their parents. If parents are polite and respectful when interacting with them and others they are more likely to do the same. So parents and adult should be a good role model and be strong and consistent. Don't let personal desires get in the way. Secondly, that is teaching by repetition. Parents should start using words and phrases like 'please,' 'thank you,' 'excuse me,' 'I'm sorry,' and 'may I?', Youre welcome as early as possible around their child. Encourage their child to do the same. Parents should be consistent about using polite words and respectful behavior. Thirdly is teaching with praise. Children react well to positive praise because they tend to seek parental approval. So parents should praise your child for good behavior. In addition, parents can also reward them. Last but not least, parents should avoid ignoring bad behavior or waiting to talk about it. Address a rule as soon as their child breaks it.

8. If you are given a chance to execute three new laws or customs in your country, what would they be? If I can be Prime Minister of Vietnam in one day, I want to create 2 new laws. Firstly, its chewing gum ban. People who use chewing gum in public will be ban. As you know, almost people always not throw gum in a right place. After eating they disposed of gum incorrectly by sticking it under places like chairs or tables or on the surface of sidewalks. Chewing gum does not break down over time, so it is difficult to remove, and make it an eyesore and a nuisance and also a potential hazard to the environment. This law is created to reduce all the clean up costs of people sticking used gum anywhere but a trash can. Police would start enforcing strict measurements for punishment of anyone who disturbed the public areas with chewing gum leftovers and spitting. Secondly, I really want that mobile phone usage while driving should be ban. Nowadays, using mobile phone while driving is one of the big causes of accidents. When drivers use mobile phone, their brains are focused on conversations and not on their driving. So theyre putting themselves and others in danger. When Im on the street, I usually see many people who are answering or even texting on their phones, and they

just drive motorbike by one hand. You can imagine that how dangerous it is! If something happened suddenly on the street, they cant have enough attention and abilities to deal with problems.

III. Education 1. Tests and exams are the best way to find out how good students are. Do you agree? Answer: No Exams are not the best way to test students intelligence - Some hours in the examination hall can not really judge students real talent, knowledge + Objective situation: health problems, life problems.. + Subjective situation: students feel pressure and forget all their knowledge, the time is not enough - cheating on exams unfair - Students should be tested through a process. 2. The main purpose of education is to prepare people for jobs. Do you agree? Answer: No Purpose of education is to open the doors of our mind and window of our soul and make the world better. - Open our mind: + developing our own thoughts, skills, and knowledge can have better opportunities to get a good job + achieving our individual potential helping each other to find out what we are good at, encouraging the creative minds we're born with, and developing them - Open our soul: + Education teaches us so that we can be good and productive citizens of the country in future developing our personality, right attitude, behave properly in social situations + know how to love & care, sense of responsibility + learn about how to think positive, how to deal with challenges. - A better world: + provide the equal opportunity to the people to have a balance life.

+ bring about practical economic progress in the country makes the individuals self-sufficient, provide qualified workforce 3. All schools should let students wear whatever they want at school. Do you agree? Answer: No. Students should wear uniform when going to school 3 main reasons: - School uniforms are there to create equality between the students and their different socio-economic status'. remove social barrier, putting everyone on equal ground - create a better learning environment at school + Students are not distracted by how they look spend more time learning at school + Uniforms force the students to express themselves through their character instead of through their appearance they are also judged by others by their actions and personalities instead of by how they dress. - Uniforms show that pupils belong to the school. + Increase a sense of belonging and school pride + Students must show their respect to teachers (students wear shorts or thin shirt unrespected)

4. Physical education should be optional. Do you agree? Answer: No. It should be required - gives people the chance to exercise and be healthy: + Students are less likely to do exercise; lazy to walk; sit all time in class or before computers + need a place to get rid of all that extra energy, improve students health - It should be more flexible where students can choose what they want to do: + Many physical education classes is very boring, not useful make students are less active + design some interesting sports or exercise such as aerobic, dancing, yoga, swimming for girls; football, badminton, martial arts 5. Educated people are more intelligent than uneducated people. Do you agree? It is unfair to judge people on their educational backgrounds - People is educated that doesnt mean they are clever, it just means they have more academic knowledge and skills - Some uneducated people who may be smarter than many educated people in their respective fields (For example, Mao Tsetung, the first chairman of the Chinese Republic)

- Uneducated people learn from society, real experiences, learn from their mistakes and get "educated" everyone is educated in some ways 6. Qualities needed in a good student? 3 main qualities: - Hard working: + We can't achieve good results in school without training and effort Learn, learn more, learn forever + Knowledge is not inborn but experienced, not unchanged but keep-up-date, and not easy but hard to earn students need to improve themselves everyday - good attitude at learning: + a good student possesses the ability and willingness to learn new things even if the subjects are not interesting or does not suit his inner nature. + be active, enthusiastic + show their respect to teachers and classmate - Organizational skills: + can plan well and execute their plans in the best possible ways. + can prepare themselves to face all the situations with an ease. + good at basic skills such as communicate, independent, comprehension

7. Education can only be achieved through schooling. Do you agree? Answer: No Educated at home by parents, family Educated from society, experiences (self-taught)

9. Education is about learning and remembering information. Do you agree? Answer: No Education is about Learning: how to learn (how to get knowledge, to do something, to be motivated Understanding: we cant remember information all the time when we understand something, we can remember it easily.

Practicing: the most important thing The gap between practicability and theory is quite significant. Practicability helps students to have real experiences, closely understand the nature of problems.

10. Private schools are usually better than state schools. Do you agree? Answer: in some cases have better facilities: invest from fee, parents fund or non-public sources such as religious organizations, endowments, grants and charitable donations small size class: the teacher usually can control and manage student entirely and carefully more safely: take student to school and back home by car

1. Tests and exams are the best way to find out how good students are. Do you agree? It is well-known fact that nowadays our society is based on testing everyone and everything to identify intelligence, abilities, skills However, the true aim of the test and the exam system often fails due to its incompetence and fraud. In my opinion exams are not the best way to test students intelligence. Do you think as exams are the best judge for ones potential and caliber? Some hours in the examination hall can really judge your real talent, knowledge and can decide your future? No, I dont think so. What would happen if students feel pressure and forget all their knowledge or their health is not good or the time of exams havent been given enough. Exams are all about memorizing rather than applying or understanding the subject. Exams do not prepare you for the real world, they only test how good your memory and ability under pressure are. It is a very common thing that students are trained for exams instead of receiving an appropriate education. Moreover, some people are cheating on their exams and the mark usually unfair. That is why most people hate grading. Students should be tested through a process. Actually I think that although exams are not perfect but its still a best way to access students capabilities nowadays, because students have to work harder when it counts toward a grade. 2. Physical education should be optional. Do you agree? physical education classes has to be taken for at least the first two years of high school. because it gives people the chance to exercise and be healthy. If people can choose to take it or not, they wont. Then there could be more teens with problems of obesity. No, because were at school for about eight hours each day and all we do is sit. We need a place to get rid of all that extra energy. Its good for your health to exercise at least 30 minutes each day.

I think it should be required. It helps students positively, and helps exercise. However I think it should be more flexible where kids/teens can choose what they want to do that day. 3. Educated people are more intelligent than uneducated people. Do you agree? For example, Mao Tsetung, the first chairman of the Chinese Republic, did not receive any formal education and therefore he can hardly be called an educated person. some uneducated people who are not very intelligent may still be smarter than many educated people in their respective fields. there is no difference between educated or uneducated when it comes to humanity. There are instances that educated people get inspired by the uneducated people who influence them with great sense of humanity. Today, I am an educated person having a master's degree. However it was my grandmother, who has never attended school, who influenced all my academic accomplishments. She taught me very important lessons by setting examples herself. Therefore, I believe it is unfair to judge people on their educational backgrounds. After all everybody has something special about themselves. Therefore, in my conclusion, I stress that educated people have lot to learn from the uneducated people. I'm sure "uneducated" people can teach you something that we don't know. Everyone is educated in some way, how else would they live maybe u will think that uneducated people are people who dont have any chance for go to school! but there are so many people who have a chance for go to school but still have a bad habit like uneducated people... one kind----they don't have much money or support to continue their study....that's not their faults. all most of them need pay much hardships to live, that's difficult but they did.especially, some of them are very strong and successful, so i think we can learn something from them but not look down upon them. the other kind----they are really uneducated. though they have enough good opportunity to study, such as some persons they granduated from college or university, they are aslo ignorant ...that's because they don't have good manner, good Ideological Cultivation or good inside...i hate this kind and at the same time, i despise them. Stupid simply means lacking in intelligence, where as uneducated is lacking in education for instance university educated, doesn't mean they are clever, it merely means that they are a good "parrot" and can regurgitate information on demand. Uneducated people learn from their mistakes and get "educated",

IV. Family 1. Parents should let their children begin to make their own decisions from the age of eight. Parents have a critical role in their children life. In my opinion, I believe that parents should let their children decide for themselves as soon as the child gets old enough, but not in 8 years old. Why not from the age of eight? Because of at these ages, children are just kids. They are still too young , dont have any experiences in real life, not mature enough to have the ability to think by themselves, to make their own decisions, to face difficulties and to solve problems. I definitely think that parents should let their children to make their own decision as soon as the child gets old enough (I mean from 13 years old). I will list 3 main reasons: Firstly, it offers a good opportunity to learn how to make a choice. Nowadays, people have to encounter numerous options, from which clothes are better to which university is more suitable. The earlier children learn this ability, the more likely they will make the best choice later. That means when they grow up, they would not be confused with complicated problems, because they can make their desired choice without hesitation. Secondly, making choice can make children more independent and responsible. This is because once you have made it you have to face up with any results, no matter how despairing or irritating they are. They learn the way how to do, to think, to deal by themselves. The more mistakes they make, the more mature they are. A teenager can learn more if they experience the world for themselves, rather then hearing what their parents have experienced. Parents should let their teenage children become who they want to be not who the parents envisioned them to be. Thirdly, making decisions can increase self-confidence in personality of the child. Such positive experience will make children believe in themselves and act decisively in the future. Those children who can make choices freely would trust themselves to option for the right one, and would be more likely to fulfill their potential. In conclusion, I think that little by little parents have to let go and let their children grow and make their own decisions. Parents should just guide and support the child for better future 4. What would you like your children to achieve in their life? To be honest, my dreams for my children are very simple. Id like my children to achieve just 2 main things in their life: Good & stable job and a happy family. Firstly, about job, I want that my children will get a good job. With this, they will have a good background of life, and they are also stable in finance. When they are stable in finance, they can do anything they want. They can plan out a long term project for their life, travel abroad, buy house or something like that. Secondly, I really would like that my children can meet a good spouse and have a happy family. Family life is very important. The people who come from an unhappy family are generally less confident, always

worried & tired. They cant enjoy their life and concentrate well on other things. With a happy family, my kids will be supported, encouraged to survive through tough time, and bring joy and happiness into life. Im very satisfied if my children have a happy family. 5. What kinds of things do you and your family tend to talk about? Actually, I divide my stories to 2 kinds when I talk to my parents With my mom, I talk about everything I thought, about my hobby, my friends, my trouble in social life, or sometimes it is just simple that I buy a new shirt I also tell her. I tell her about my everyday stuff. My mother also tells me something like that. She explains to me anything that happened in my family. She talks with me when she bored because of my brothers study or when she argues with my father. She always tells me about her experience in life, and taught me how to improve my character. On the other hands, I and my father usually discuss about news everyday, my study & goals. Both of us have the same hobby such as reading books, learning about everything happened around the world, fans of MU. So I like to ask him, or make a debate with him about the things I excited. Furthermore, whenever I have to make an important decision, I always talk with my father.

6. What are the rules your parents are applying to your family? Do you find them reasonable or not? To be honest, my family doesnt have any rules. My parents are quite outgoing. But we are encouraged to uphold the practices of staying self-conscious, never telling lies and be respectful to each other Firstly, I and my brothers have to do anything by ourselves. Staying self-conscious in everything we should to do such as go bed on time, go home on time, do housework, complete homework, trying to get good grades at school. My parents said that self-conscious in action will help us more mature, increase our independent, and its very necessary when we go into our real life. Secondly, we shouldnt lie to my parents. Try to be honest as much as possible. Sometimes my parents accept a few white lies. However, when the matters seem serious, we have to tell the truth. My father always warns us not to tell lies, because he will find out. Finally, we all must to treat each other with respect. Do not mouth back to your parents, your older sister. We should listen to adults. We can voice our opinion but respect the final decision made by our parents. Say please, thank you, sorry, youre welcome, and excuse me when warranted. No put downs, yelling, hitting, kicking, name-calling to the elders. 7. What makes good parents? Good parents are portrayed as being sympathetic to their children, providing both material and emotional support.

1. Express Love and Encouragement - letting their children know they have parents on their side with the support and love they need. In some cases, a little encouragement, appreciation, approval or even a smile can increases the confidence and well-being of children. I will tell them I love them everyday 2. Be a role model - parents are children's first role model. Parents should pay attention to what they say or do around their children, because young children always imitate the things adults do 3. Time - A good parent will always have time for their children. Time to sharing. Time to listen and understand what their children need. Time to make children feel secure and safe. Time to be patient with their children. Time to learn how to teach their children in the right way. I think that Good parents don't need to be perfect parents.

8. A time when you were in conflict with your parents. When I lived at home with family, it was terrible with both of I and my parents. We all fought constantly. My dad is a person who can lose his temper easily. To be honest, I argued with my dad about stupid things. Whenever I got upset, I would wish I could break away from home, and I want go to college as soon as well. Because Im a sensitive person, I can cry at slightest provocation. I felt so much pressure and stressed out when I were grade 12 students. I even tried to kill myself once time when I fought with my parents about my study. But after that, I usually felt not comfortable and guilty because I know that they care for me, so I don't take it with too much weight. Now, Ive been studying in Hanoi for 2 years and live far away from my family. As a result, I always feel lonely, and its difficulty for me to live alone. I have been starting know many things which they taught me. We used to fight a lot more when I was growing up, but now we rarely fight. 10. Do you prefer having brothers and sisters or being an only child? I prefer having older brothers and sisters. Actually, in my family Im the eldest sister, and I have 2 younger brothers. I have to take responsibilities for my brothers. In addition, my parents expect me to be a good example for my siblings, so I always feel pressure. The reason that I've always wanted to have an older brothers or sisters is because that I'd want someone to talk to and someone to look up to. I just want someone around who understands me from a different point of view and someone I could share my thought to when I couldn't talk to my parents. Because they are older than me, they will have more experiences, tips about study, relationship with friends which is necessary for me. Because they are in the same generation with me, so they can offer support, love, friendship, and understanding on a level that my parents or friends simply cannot. I can rely on them. If I have the elder sister, I can borrow my sisters clothes, can receive many gift from my sisters boyfriend. If I have the older brother, he will take care of me and make sure me are safe and sound. One good benefit when you have an older brother is that you will understand boys better.

V. Money 1. If you could buy yourself a skill, talent, or change in your appearance, what would it be? I want to change in my appearance. It doesnt mean Im less confident about my appearance. Sometimes I just feel that I dont have enough height. My height isnt over 1m60, so I want I can be higher. Firstly, with my recent height its hard for me if I want to be applying for a job, especially in banking. Nowadays, almost companies doesnt need only staff who have good skills but also good appearance. In banking field, having good appearance is very advantageous, because you have to communicate with customers every day. Secondly, its quite difficult for me to buy suitable clothes. Many times I liked a jean, a long vest, or a maxi dress so much. They are very cute and beautiful, but I cant buy because when I wore it, I look like a mushroom. Im really jealous someone whose has the height over 1m60. In conclusion, Ive become aware of the fact that it doesnt really matter. Im a active girl, I will have a good job, date with some handsome boys and enjoy my life happily. 2. Why are rich people rich? As globalization has developed, the gap between rich poor has been increasing. Sometimes, you wonder why rich people are rich, how do they get rich? First of all, I want to mention to someone who has special talents. If you can sing wonderfully, play football well, good at acting, have a nice body. You can be a famous singer, footballer, a professional model, actor/actress. You will become a celebrity, get many fame and money. And you are rich person. On the other hand, except people who are rich since they were born, if we are talking about normally person who are rich, I have 3 reasons: Firstly, follow their passion. Im sure that every one all know about Bill Gate whose one of the founders of the personal computer age. At the age of thirteen he was already programming computers, and he continued his interest in technology while a student at Harvard. Then he left college to found Microsoft and established his own company. And he became the richest person in the world. Everyone loves the success story of Bill Gate but only few will ever give a thought to the fact that Bill Gate dropped out of college; just to make sure his passion never dies. (Firstly, the rich person knows the best way of making a lot of money. He knows how to run a business so he makes his business successful. He knows how to invest so in 5 years he has become rich through his proven investment strategies. He knows how to buy property so in 5 years he has a stable of properties equal to what he had before). Secondly, Rich people dare to dream big and are committed to their dreams . They will do whatever it takes, in the boundary or moral and ethics of course, to achieve their dreams. I will tell you a success of Mark Zuckerberg famous CEO of Facebook. When he developed the idea and established the most popular social network Facebook.com, he had nothing but a dream. He was more interested in changing the world. Mark envisioned Facebook as a worldwide project that will change the way people communicate and stay in

touch. Thats way he became the youngest billionaire in the world.. Do you know how old he is? He was born in 1984. Thirdly, work hard. Everyone dreams of being rich and famous, but when its time for action people are simply too lazy. They are not ready to work, study and sacrifice their personal life to get rich they simply want the money. If you look at anyone who is rich enough to give us a good example about how to get rich people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Donald Triump - you will see that they all have 1 thing in common. Whatever they do, they do it more than anyone else. Thirdly, thats luck factor. Almost millionaire admitted that when they started their own business, they always got a little luck. Even if you work hard, it doesn't mean you will be rich soon. Only luck connects everything together. 3. Would you prefer fame or fortune? I would go with fortune. Firstly, good fortune would permit me to live a solid life with a minimum of bad circumstances causing pain and hardship. It is impossible to avoid these things, but keeping them to a minimum is preferable. Secondly, good fortune would permit me to take care of myself and my family. If Im a famous person, I couldn't live for my family and be around the people I love. I don't need paparazzi spying on my every movement. I also don't need rumors spread about me on a daily basis. I want to be able to support myself with no problem and enjoy what life has to offer. For me, that is good fortune. I am not concerned, at all, with fame. With fortune, someday I can meet my idols, I can win lottery. To be honest, I think fortune can buy fame. 4. People are poor because they are lazy. Do you agree? Not generally true. Ive seen too many hard working people who are still poor. There are many reasons for poverty. Some people have been raised in a poor family. Many people were born in slum poor can not get a chance to change their life. They are poor because society isnt given the equal or same opportunity that others get to be successful. On the other hands, some people are poor because of bad luck. They are very hard workers trying to get ahead but it never happens. Or they are poor due to natural disasters, traumas, and losses in their lives and find it hard to recover. Or some people are poor because they dont have education. In this society, if you couldnt have a degree, you cant be applying for a job. Without education, maybe you still can get a job but with a very low salary, so you cant live happily. In conclusion, I want to say that poor people arent lazy, but lazy people are often poor.

5. What do you spend most money on? As you know, Im still a student and have ever not earned money by myself. Im well provided with money by my parents, and I do have to care nothing but study. For this question, I will list top 3 things that I spend most money. Thats fixed expenses, clothes and a special hobby. Firstly, it is fixed expenses. Because I live far away from my family, I have a list everyday expenses which I have to pay money. I mean the things are very necessary for my existence. Such as rent, transport payment, food. Oh my god, the life in Hanoi is very expensive. About the second thing, like every girls I like shopping and buy clothes. For the last thing, Im a crazy fan of one of the most famous Korean boy group, so I spend lots of money to buy their CD, DVD, concert goods. In addition, when I were a high school student, I spent most of my money on buying books, because my hobby is reading book. But now Im a student, and a good student have to know the way how to save money effectively, so I just read my favorite book on internet.

6. What would you do if you had too much of money? Actually, when I see this question, suddenly I imagined that Im a candidate in Miss World, now Im in top 5, ready to answer this question, and hope that I can be the winner. If I have too much money, I have 3 things to do. Firstly, I will travel around the world. The places where I definitely have to set foot on are Manchester City (because I want to see my favorite club plays directly), Paris, Roma, New York, Singapore Secondly, I will pay a lot of money to get a chance to meet my favorite Korean boy group. I want to have meals with them, to see them in daily life, to listen the song they sing to me. How mysterious. Finally, I would give a part of my money to a charity or organization that I believe in. Its found money for me, so I might as well do some good with it for others. Whether it would be to help feed the needy, fight cancer, or protect the environment, I could feel good about giving some of the money away.

7. What is the best way of making a lot of money?

8. Does having a lot of money make someone more attractive? For this question, I will talk about mans case. To be realistic, in our society a rich man can draws women to him, because women think that being with him can make them more attractive.

However, in my view, I don't think women automatically find men with a lot of money more attractive at all. Being financially stable and smart with money is important and it's attractive, but a man's ability to form a loving and mutually enjoyable and secure relationship is far more important to most women. A man with money often does hold a lot of power, and they always want to control their woman. But in fact, if a man flaunts his wealth too much or uses it to manipulate a woman, or if he is stingy out of fear and resentment, a woman can quickly pick that up and become very wary of a man. Not only can it cause a woman to lose respect in him, but it can also make her feel insecure and unsatisfied, causing her to withdraw from the relationship. If there was a choice between a man who has a lot of wealth but who can't give love and a man who had only a modest amount to live on but can make a woman feel loved and secure, most women would choose the latter. Money doesn't buy peace of mind or real happiness and love. But I admitted that a man who has enough motivation and drive, to work his way to the top, and stay at the top is sexy. Having a lot of money is very advantageous for both man and woman. Many I will take a chance to date with a rich man, and tell you how attractive he is later. . 9. How much pocket money should a 13-year-old get? I think it depends on the child and what the child needs money for. Pocket money is a really good way of showing kids that you have to work to get stuff you like. And parents can help their children come to terms with the importance of saving and learn the life essential skills of money management. However, when I have kids, I wont give money for them as a gift or encouragement. I dont want to let my children use money early, because kids today have no idea of the value of money. I will pay them for their chores but not in cash. If my child does a good thing, I will buy toys, video game, bike or the things they like, to support them. If they want to hang out with friends, then I will give them enough for just that day. When I was a kid, my parents never gave me any pocket money but always gave me money whenever I might need it. 10. How would the world be different if all the money in the world was shared out equally among all people? The good side is that there would be no poverty and less crime and less jealousy in society. But in my view, it would definitely make things worse. Firstly, it can make people be less ambitious and enthusiastic. People would have no motivation to do more than whatever their task is in life. Also there would be no new inventions because people would have no financial reason to research and develop new technology. People would be lazier because if they dont work,

they still get the same salary as everyone else. There are people who work to earn money and pay their bills and taxes. There are people who don't work and live off the taxes of those who do Secondly, money would instantly become valueless, just random numbers with no meaning at all. We would have a big pile of worthless paper and coins, because dividing all the world's money equally among individuals would reduce every business and government to rubble as they would have to be gutted of financial resources to make that happen. Expensive stuff wouldn't be worth as much because nobody could afford it. You still are worried about the gap between rich and poor has been increasing day by day, And poor people couldnt exist. However, sharing money equally among people isnt the solution. Giving poor people sum of money is not the answer. There is that well-known saying, give a man a fish you'll feed him for a day, teach a man to fish you'll feed him for life. It's much better to provide people with the skills, equally education and resources so that they can earn for themselves and make a living.

Sure having money is nice. But I think that enough money to keep the bills paid and food on the table and to be able to buy a few extras from time to time is enough. I am not rich financially by any stretch of the imagination but I do have enough money to keep my bills paid and buy food and clothes and the other things I want from time to time and I am a perfectly happy person. I find my happiness in life in my family and friends and the volunteer work I do. I also find happiness in the simple things in life like taking a walk and watching a beautiful sunrise and sunset and I get a lot of happiness from my 2 dogs and cat. I think that many times great wealth brings more heartache than it brings job.
