Feedbacks in any taste are welcome Why we remained silent for so many years? Why we let intestines to speak? Why we turned deaf to so many tongues of so many victims and made them either to stay quiet or die silently? Over the past few days people are listening, discussing and debating it; Something parallel to terrorist attack has happened which has shaken the entire society; Intestines of one brave young girl have spoken the agony of many such similar victims. Yes, I am referring to the blot on year 2012 when a young girl was raped and eventually killed by six monsters that look like humans. Girl battled for her life, she was brave, died like a brave soldier and I hope her sacrifice wont go waste. She has become a reason for millions of people to think, speak and act in a direction where we can build a society where girls are actually safe. Alarm has rung, people need to wake up and force things to change, change where everybody feels safe. We need political reforms; politicians accused with sexual charges should in no way be given a chance to be representatives of people (as also expressed by many think tankers). They should be banned and bashed. Police reforms are necessary, bring accountability in the system and accountability should flow from bottom to top i.e. top official should be held much more responsible than the low level official. With great power comes great responsibility and top official should realize it. We need tough laws; I believe intellectuals in our society are checkmated to an alternative of capital punishment as a contradictory argument given is that such laws can get the victim murdered. We can expand our horizon of punishment, like capital punishment for rape and chopping of body parts or burning alive if rape is followed by murder. Such laws are need of an hour. Default tendency of male gender is to chase female. This is biological, this is natural. Every male doesnt commit such heinous crime because either of their good genotype or he is brought up in a family where he is taught to respect girls ,where his upbringing makes him civilized or many doesnt rape because they have a fear of losing reputation in the society . For the rest we need to have fear of law, we need to have tough laws. Imagine there is no fear, Imagine if man gets a mask, or become invisible, what will he do, what comes as top 5 things in mind? Reply left to the individual reading it. I heard and am hearing people speaking about dress codes as other measures to be followed and some are contradicting it by saying properly dressed girls are also raped, reference of 4 year old girl or of old lady is given. I actually dont know which side to tilt; if I favor dress codes then it is actually bringing independence of girl at halt, it is snatching the freedom of girl, it is again giving birth to discrimination between the gender groups.Arguement from other side is no way convincing me . It is paralleling the premise of a smoker or of an alcoholic. They debate and defend it by saying non smoker and non alcoholic also dies of cancer so why to slander cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption. Accidents happen all over the world why drink and drive is not allowed. A complete unbiased research is required to find the relationship between the dress code, sexual abuse s and the degree of urbanization. I believe if vampire lands in our society, a wise man will take every precaution not to let his scars open (blood attracts vampire). We need to take some precautionary measures till we build a safe society, a society without vampires and monsters. I pray to god that the soul of young 23 old girl rests in peace and hope her death brings a change in the society, a change which is must and good for all.
