Highway 93, known as the Icefields Parkway, qualifies as one of the most scenic drives in the world. Stretching 229 km from Lake Louise to Jasper, it traverses an unspoiled wilderness of more than 100 glaciers, pristine lakes, and some of the highest Rockies. Pass lakes Herbert, Hector, Bow, and Peyto and other splendid scenery, including Crowfoot Glacier. After visiting the Athabasca Glacier, continue northward towards Sunwapta Falls and the peaceful mountain townsite of Jasper.
