NOX TPA Touch Panel

advantages: The operation of security systems is often complicated and unclear for the average user. Thanks to the display of colored floor plans showing the actual state of areas in the building, the operation is simple and intuitive.

NOX TPA with clock display in logged out state

The touch screen offers a 10.4 Inch flat panel display with 800 x 600 pixels combined with a powerful graphic processor. Floor plans showing all sensors and detectors installed in the system, display of area states with different colors and integrated temperature and humidity values in rooms give an immediate, clear overview of the system states. Additionally all common functions of an intruder detection system such as user administration or display of logging information are available on the touch screen as well.

operation and menus

In idle state, without users logged in, the screen show the actual system clock with a classic style analog watch including sweep hand.

Touching the screen calls a virtual key pad on the display to enter the login code.

If a user with a valid code is logged in, the status of the entire system is visible through floor plans colored in dependence of the correspondent area states.

Adding, modifying and deleting users is done very comfortably with the virtual alphanumeric keyboard directly on the touch screen.

Temperature and humidity values are displayed on the floor plans as well. In addition, the logged values can be recalled to the display on a graph, scaled for one day, month or year trends. All stored values can be exported from the system for further use in other programs.

User administration, alarm list, logging information and other useful functions can be accessed and modified in a comfortable way with the NOX touch screen.

connection
The touch screen connects to the NOX CPU via integrated Ethernet TCP/IP interface. This very fast connection guarantees a comfortable operation of the system with high short reaction times. The connection cable between NOX CPU and TPA must have a RJ-45 plug on both ends. Depending on whether the connection is done directly between CPU and TPA or whether a network hub is used, the Ethernet wire must be crossed type or not.
