This picture served to contradict with the one that represented a modern day family. It had a pre-pill family, lined up for a black and white photograph, in order of height. I included a clip of this video on the introduction page of my website.

This webpage was the first source that I found, and introduced me to the historical concept of the birth control pill with a small summary. It directed me to research topics such as Margaret Sanger, The Comstock Law, and the unsafe early methods of birth control. McBride, Alex. Griswold v. Connecticut (1965). It represents the modern family today, in the post-pill era with the independent, working mom, looking after 3 busy children of her own. Today, 3 children is considered an average amount of children, but previous to the pill, the average amount of children was much larger. Tone, Andrea. It connected todays global population to the birth control pill and the Planned Parenthood organization. It also provided a picture of Anthony Comstock that is used in my website.
