This was the promise that He made to His disciples. After His resurrection and ascension, His disciples fully realized what He has said to them about His statement. 2. The Enforcement Of The Power We as the people of God need to learn how to enforce the victory that He had obtained at Calvary(The God of peace will soon crush satan under your feet. Rom 16:20) We are born to rule- rule over creation, over darkness - to plunder(take by force/to conquer) hell and establish the rule of Jesus wherever we go by preaching the gospel of the kingdom. Now the sin has entered the world, creation has been infected by darkness, namely: disease, sickness, afflicting spirits, poverty, natural disasters, demonic influence etc. Our rule is still over creation, but now it is focused on exposing and undoing the works of the devil. Deliver us from evil - Mathew 6:13 Word evil - represent curse of sin upon man. Poneros - the Greek word for evil, come from the ponos, meaning pain(kesakitan). Root word penes, meaning poor(miskin). Look at it: evil-sin, pain-sickness and poverty Jesus came to destroy power of sin, sickness and poverty through His redemptive work on the cross. Now that we are completely restored to His plan to rule over creation, over darkness and plunder hell -- we should not aspect anything less. After all we have given the keys to the kingdom - which in part is the authority to trample over all the of hell. (Luke 16:19)

3. Focusing On His Ability Most of the time we people of God often more convinced of our unworthiness than we are of His worth. Our inability takes on greater focus than does His ability. Let us look at who our God is and what He can do through us. Lastly, let us read Ephesians 3:20 Our God can give us a big surprise if we allow Him to do that. Surrender ourselves to Him, let Him do the rest. We will see miracles takes place, signs and wonders happen.
