Assignment

Work together in a group and perform: 1. Country & line dance (32 counts), taught in class 2. Self designed choreography, 32 counts (or more)

Conditions A certain style must be chosen (latin, aerobic, rock & roll, hiphop etc) and should be clearly visible in the dance (2.) Each group takes care of their own music Choreography is worked out on paper (hand in hard copy before actual performance and again in booklet) Each student hands in their own booklet (managebac) If you use sources, write them down in your booklet!

The dance consists 1 part line dance (32 counts) and 1 part self choreographed (32 counts), performed twice. The student demonstrates competence in basic and many complex moves, skills and techniques in dance. 7-8 The student performs with a high degree of precision, synchronization and energy. The second part of the dance has got an in style choreography The dance is performed perfect on the beat. The student shows a high level of competence in both basic and complex moves, skills and techniques in dance (complex choreography). 9 10 The student performs with a high degree of precision, synchronization and energy, but also style and flair.

ACRO GYMNASTICS

Assignment 1
In groups you are going to make and do a show.

Your show has to contain the following parts:

1. a Minimum of 3 acro-gymnastic towers

2. Dance/Show

3. Entrance, linking parts (between the different parts)

4. End-pose

Be alert!
A higher score when all the team members are involved in all the parts! You may ad some other gymnastic exercises like the cartwheel (= radslag), rounoff (= arabier), handsprings (handstand overslag), flips (flikflak) and twists You take care of your Music! You decide in which order you want to perform your parts No extra materials are allowed (no chairs, steps) The show has to be performed in the middle of the gym

Make it appear as professional as possible. You can use these tips: Dont talk/discus during your show Show bodytension and flexibility in each part Make it look smooth (link the parts together in a fun way) Make eye contact with your audience as much as possible Show fun and enthusiasm!

Bonus points: special clothes!
