Teaching Experience: 2012-present University of North Texas: Instructed two semester beginner African Dance Class University of Florida: Taught African dance master classes to Int./Adv. level students City of Dallas- Office of Cultural Affairs Provided artistic experiences to inner city youth. Lead a youth movement and rhythm workshop exploring rhythm, counting, and movement qualities. The workshop lasted 12 weeks. Fihankra Dance and Fitness Studio Offered dance- fitness workshops, and youth healthy snack group discussions to all ages of students whos goal was to improve their physical, and mental health through dance and fitness. Ayubu Kamau Kings and Queens Dance Company/ Young Audiences of North Texas Affiliation Led as Artistic Director of an organization of youth performers that provided lecture demonstrations throughout the DFW metropolex and state of Texas Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts (BTWHSPVA) Demonstrated, choreographed, and reinforced West African Dance movements to high school students involved in the International Dance Company
