Substitute Lesson Plan for Thursday, April 11 Good Morning, Thank you for substituting today.

I have my general substitute notes on AESOP. They will also be in the red substitute binder in the lower right-hand drawer of the Teacher Desk. Please look over them. Today is an early out day, so you will have shortened classes. This is the lesson plan for Thurs, April 11. Espaol II (Block 2 and 3) You have C-Lunch during third block. 1. Take attendance. (5 min) 2. The starter activity is a writing activity. I have typed 15 reflexive verbs. Please put the list on the Document Camera. They will need to take these 15 reflexive verbs, conjugate them using all 6 subjects and then write one sentence using each verb. They will hand it in when done. (20-25min) 3. Have them pair up with a partner and hand out the Reflexive Verbs WS #1 (it starts Hay mucha gente que ____________________ Give only one worksheet per pair. They need to work on this and hand it in when done. They may use a dictionary for this activity, but no phones. (20 -25 minutes) 4. After they have done the first worksheet, they need to do the second Reflexive Worksheet, which is a translation. Hand one out to each group after they have handed in the first worksheet. Please have them write their sentences on a separate sheet of paper. They are not to write on the half sheet as I only have a class set. Collect the half sheets when you are done so you can use them for 3rd block. They may use a dictionary for this activity, but no phones. (15- 20 minutes) 5. For the last 20-25 minutes of the class, have them work on their Dialogues/skits. They will be in groups of 3. They have already started working on them. Remind them that they will hand-in their skits on Friday and begin presenting them to the class. 6. Also, Please remind them that they will have a quiz over the Bathroom and Body Vocabulary on Friday. Espaol III (Block 4) 1. Take attendance. (5 min) 2. Starter Activity (individually) - You can put the Celebrations vocabulary list on the Doc Cam. Have them pick their favorite celebration and write 8-10 sentences about why it is their favorite. When they are done, they can get with an elbow partner and check their work. They will hand in their answers . Make sure both their name and their partners name is on the worksheet. (10-15 min) 4. Put the first page of the Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns packet on the overhead. Have them do the exercises #1-17 (18 and 19 are repeats.) They

just have to rewrite the sentence using Indirect and direct object pronouns where needed. They can do this with a partner. Have them hand it in when done. (25 minutes) 5.
