1. WHO MAY CAMP ON CLOUD 9 RANCH
A. Members:
Individual (s) recorded on the membership deed.
B. Associate Members:
The Spouse, significant other, &/or unmarried children under
21 years of age residing with at least one (1) parent. It is the
member’s responsibility to keep their Associate Member list current
with the Ranch. Children of members who are under the age of 18
years of age may NOT camp on the Ranch without a member or older
associate member present.
C. DEFINITION OF GUESTS:
A House Guest is a person &/or family who occupies the
same unit as a member or associate member (18 yrs or older).
A Campsite Guest is a person &/or family who occupies the
same campsite of the member.
A Pad Guest is any non-member person &/or family who
occupies a separate campsite at the invitation of a member or
associate member (18 yrs or older). No member may have
more than one (1) Pad Guest on the Ranch at any time without
written permission from the Ranch Manager.
A Day Guest is any person &/or family who visits the Ranch
at the invitation of the member but does not stay overnight.
D. GUESTS USAGE LIMITATIONS:
House Guests – The time limit is none.
Campsite Guest –There is a limit of two additional tents per
campsite. The tents may not occupy the campsite for more
then 30 days at a time.
Pad Guests – Unless otherwise approved by management; are
limited to one visit per year, a maximum length of seven (7)
nights stay. Pad guests are limited to one camping unit. Each
Member is entitled to two (2) Pad Guests per month with a
maximum total of 12 Pad Guests per year.
Day Guests – May visit the Ranch between 6:30 am and
10:00 pm. Member checking in a guest must be at the
Gatehouse to check in their guest at the time of their guest’s
arrival. A Day Guest pass will be Prominently displayed on
the guest vehicle. Members are responsible for informing their
guests of the rules and regulations of Cloud 9 Ranch Club,
Inc.; any violation will be assessed against the member.
2. MEMBER REGISTRATION AT GATE HOUSE
In order to have maximum security on the Ranch, a Gate House is
located just at the entrance to the main Ranch complex. Everyone
entering and leaving the Ranch is logged in at the Gatehouse. This
enables us to locate or identify anyone on the Ranch in case of
emergency or other reason as the computer record also shows the
campground and pad location of each member and guest.
The registration procedure is as follows:
A. When you stop at the Gate House, advise the Attendant
that you are a member and hand them your membership
card and picture ID. They will register you and return your
cards.
B. After you locate your campsite, you must notify the Gate
House, ranger on duty, or complete a check in card and
drop it in the box located on the Camphost sign in each
campground as to your location. If you need assistance,
check in at the Gate House and a Ranger will help you in
locating a pad or a rental trailer, as the case may be.
C. Please be advised that it is necessary for you to inform the
Gate House of your pad location within 2 hours of your
 check-in. The 2 hours time frame also applies to any pad
re-locations.
D. Upon exiting the Ranch all members and guests must
advise the Gatehouse attendant if they are checking off of
the Ranch, leaving on an applicable leave or just leaving
for a few hours. Upon checking out the member must sign
and date the check out card.
3. GUEST REGISTRATION @ GATE HOUSE & RULES
A. A Guest may not register unless the sponsoring
member accompanies them.
B. The member is responsible for their guest and should
be sure they are familiar with all the Ranch rules.
C. Every guest must be accompanied by a member or
qualifying associate member of the Club and must
check out when the member or associate member
leaves the Ranch on an established leave.
D. No member may have more than one (1) Pad Guest on
the Ranch at any time without written permission from
the Ranch Manger.
4. CAMPGROUND SELECTION, USE AND GENERAL
INFORMATION
The entire Ranch (6358 Acres) with the exception of a few special
use areas is designed to be used by members and guest to further
their camping and outdoor recreational needs and desires. Ranch
staff members will be available to help make your stay at Cloud 9
Ranch Club, Inc. a pleasant one. Please spot your recreational
vehicle, tent and auto so that it will not interfere with others or
pose a safety concern.
General rules are as follow:
A. Members and their guests are entitled to camp anywhere
on the Ranch with a few exceptions of restricted areas. We
do request you advise the Gatehouse after you move your
location to a new campsite.
B. Members are required to change their campground and
move their equipment every thirty (30) days or less, with
the exception of 53 specified pads. Members may
remain on these specified pads for 60 days or less. All
the other rules apply. Return to the same campground
cannot be sooner than 4 days. This practice will allow
other members to enjoy all sites and give you an
opportunity to see the rest of the Ranch. (Wilder 1 &
Wilder 2 is considered the same campground & Hill
Country 1 & Hill Country 2 are considered the same
campground.) Club management, at its’ discretion, may
relax this requirement during off seasons.
C. Pads that members may remain on for 60 days are as
follows:

3. Hill Country (12)-

D. Members may not occupy the same pad between October
1st and the 3rd Monday of September the following year.
The only exception involves leaving the Ranch (checking
out) for 96 hours (4days) or more. You may then return to
pads you have used before.
E. Members who are on a winter No-Move commences pad
and have not exceeded their 30 days on October 1st (the
date the winter No-Move commences) may remain on that
pad. They must vacate this pad by April 15th. The 20-day
 extended leave rule covers the period between October 1st
and April 15th.
F. Only ONE RV unit may occupy a pad campsite. Rear
wheels of the RV unit must be on the concrete pad and the
RV unit must be in the same direction as the pad unless
approved by management. Transportation vehicles may be
located on the campsite. One open trailer will be allowed
on a pad campsite.
G. A unit may not be placed on a pad more than 12 hours
before the member’s arrival and must be returned to
storage the day the member checks off the property unless
approved by management.
H. RESERVING A PAD: After selecting an empty pad, a
chair may be used to hold the pad for up to two (2) hours
ONLY.
I. Tents will be allowed on all 30 day improved campsites
and in primitive camping areas.
J. Ranch rules require that no members or their guest may
leave an RV unit or tent on any campsite unoccupied for
more the 72 hours, except extended leave pads have 60
days. The member or associate member must stay a
minimum of 24 hours before a leave may begin. The leave
starts at midnight the day you leave. There will be a $10 a
day penalty fee assessed against the member for each
day or part of a day the member is late returning from
an approved leave.
K. Occupancy per pad is limited to 12 individuals.
L. EXTENDED USAGE CAMPSITES: With the
exception of the 3 major summer holidays there are
several pads that are not fully utilized. In an effort to
enable members to leave their RV on a campsite when
they are off of the Ranch longer than the 72-hour leave
we have established 53 campsites for the extended
usage program. There are no limitations on the
number of days the RV can be left unattended;
however, a member may only occupy these pads for a
period of 60-days.. Members leaving their RV on one
of these pads and are checked off the ranch must
adhere to the following guidelines:
• No extended leaves between 5 days before and after
the three major holidays.
• A fee of $2.00 per day will be added to the usage fee
after the initial 72-hours.
These are the campgrounds and pads to be used for
this program:

M. Please use the sanitary facilities provided. These include
trashcans, sewer systems, etc. Notify the Management of
any problem in your water, electric, or sewage disposal
hook-up. All RV and campsite sewer connections must be
capped before units are moved.
N. General Campground Etiquette:
1. Be careful not to destroy or injure any trees,
shrubs, or other natural features of your campsite.
2. Dispose of all rubbish and garbage in receptacles
provided.
3. Be careful not to pollute water in streams or ponds.
4. Be cautious with fire.
 5. Leave no broken bottles or glass as a hazard to
yourself or others.
6. Leave your campsite as clean and natural as when
you found it.
7. Do not erect any permanent improvements to your
campsite.
8. Keep your campsite free of unsightly
accumulations.
9. Clotheslines are permitted only when attached to
your RV unit.
10. Observe quiet hours between 12:00 am and 6:00
am
11. Restrain your pet from becoming a nuisance.
12. Practice courtesy at all times.
13. A mat may be placed in front by your RV unit
steps not exceed 3’ X 4’ in size.
14. As a courtesy, slower vehicles must pull to side of
road to allow others to pass.
15. Do not drive across water & electric lines.
16. Sanitation System Hook-up: Sewer hookup
must be sealed with sewer rings, donuts or a
screw-in sealing device. Sewer hose must not
extend down in the pipe. Hoses extended in the
pipe blocks the flow from upstream fellow
campers.
O. Stage Stop (restroom/bathhouse) families have been
located in several areas of the Ranch. Most are equipped
with wash-basins, private toilets, and showers with hot
water and cold water.
P. Anyone defacing building or damaging property of Cloud
9 Ranch Club, Inc. will pay for damages and/or repair.
5. RANCH CLUB RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
A. ADULT Section CLUBHOUSE: Use of this facility
area is limited to persons 18 years of age and over with
the exception of Ranch approved activities. Children
are allowed for special events and tours. Pool tables,
card playing facilities, fireplace, Internet Access,
Satellite TV, mini-kitchen and other amenities are
available. Members and guests may bring their own
alcoholic beverages. No wet bathing suits will be
allowed in this area.
B. Patio Room: Clubhouse
1. Children will only be allowed in the Patio Room
between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM daily, except when
reserved or scheduled for Ranch activities.
2. A parent must be with children at all times and are
responsible for cleaning up after them.
3. Children may only enter and leave through the
Patio room doors.
4. The Patio room may be reserved by contacting the
office.
C. PRETEEN CENTER: This facility is normally
designated for the use of children 6-12 years of age.
Children under 6 must have responsible supervision.
The preteen center is located on the lower level
through an outside entrance of the Trading Post
building. Rules and hours are posted. Attendent is on
duty during scheduled times during the summer
camping season. See 9-Lines for scheduled times. No
alcohol or glass containers permitted in this area.
D. BIG TOP RECREATION CENTER: This all-purpose
facility is located north of the main Ranch house
complex on Spring Rd. and offer the following:
 1. POOL: The swimming pool in the Big
Top Recreation Center is open to
members and guests on the Ranch.
Rules and Hours are posted. Pool
attendant scheduled during open pool
hours throughout the pool season. See
9-Lines for pool schedule.
2. BATTING CAGES
3. SNACK BAR (limited schedule)
4. No alcohol or glass containers.
E. T-TOP: This center is designed for social events.
Please contact the office for reservations.
F. TEEN ACTIVITIY AREAS: Facilities are set aside
for teenagers and young adults (Ages 13 through 19)
and offers the usual games, music, etc. No glass
containers permitted in this area. No alcohol permitted
in this area. No attendant scheduled at any time. Rules
and hours are posted.
G. CLUB HOUSE POOL: The swimming pool is for use
by members and guests 18 years and older. Rule hours
will be posted. No glass containers. No pets. No
attendant on duty.
H. PAVILION: This building is used for a variety of
recreational activities including a snack bar, ice cream,
free family movies and other social activities.
I. PLAYGROUNDS: The following unsupervised
activities for all ages are scattered throughout the
Ranch.

6. RIDING STABLES – MEMBERS AND GUESTS
A. RANCH TRAIL RIDES
1. All members and guests wanting to ride
must sign up and purchase a Horseback
riding ticket ahead of time. Purchase
tickets at the Trading Post. Tickets need
to be purchased no later than 1 hour
before the scheduled ride time.
2. The number of riders that can be taken
on each ride is limited.
3. All ticketed riders are required to ride
on supervised trail rides.
4. Each person riding must sign a Release
of Liability Form. A Parent or legal
guardian must also sign if rider is less
than 18.
5. All riders must wear long pants and
fully enclosed shoes.
6. All children 12 and under must wear a
riding helmet furnished at Stables.
7. Children must be at least age 8 to ride.
Doubles are not allowed.
 8. Check the annual fee schedule for the
current fee.
9. Riders should be at the stable ½ hour
before the ride is scheduled to start.
10. One (1) hour and two (2) hour rides are
offered.
11. No alcoholic beverages and/or smoking
permitted on trail rides.
B. MEMBER OWNED HORSES:
1. You must call ahead of time and inform
the Head Wrangler that you would like
to bring your own horse He will let you
know if space will be available.
2. A daily fee will be charged for each
horse
3. State Law requires that you have a
current Negative Coggins Test (within
the last year). No horse will be admitted
on the Ranch without a current Coggins
Test in hand.
4. All horses must also have proof of
rabies vaccination.
5. Upon arrival the Head Wrangler will
determine a place where you can keep
your horse. He will also give you the
rules on where you can ride etc.
6. You must be checked in and stay on the
Ranch, feed, take care of and be liable
for your own horse.
7. No horseback riding in campgrounds.
8. Stock trailers must be parked in
designated areas.
7. SWIMMING
A. BIG TOP AND CLUBHOUSE POOLS:
1. These pools are open to all members
and guest. Rules and hours are posted.
2. When the “NO Pool Attendant On
Duty” sign is up, be especially careful
and help look after others.
3. Swimming is done at your own risk
4. No alcohol is permitted in the Big Top
and Big Top Pool area.
5. No glass containers permitted inside
fenced in pool areas.
6. Must be 18 years and older to be in the
Clubhouse pool area.
B. SWIMMING HOLE AND CREEK:
1. Swimming is done at your own risk:
2. Swimming is allowed only during
daylight hours.
3. Swimming, wading, floating on inner-
tubes, rubber mattress etc. above the
handicap ramp to spring is strictly
prohibited.
8. TRADING POST AND RESTAURANT
Proper attire required in these facilities. No wet bathing suits
allowed. Infants must have clothing over diapers in these
facilities.
9. SPEED LIMITS AND SAFETY PRECAUTION
Please use extreme caution when driving anywhere on the
Ranch. There are many people who like to walk or hike along
the main roads as well as the back roads and trails. On these
winding roads sometimes a vehicle is virtually upon the hiker
 before they can be seen. Crossing of the creek is strongly
discouraged in anything but 4-wheel drive vehicles. There is a
fee set by the Board of Directors for towing a stalled vehicle
out of the creek. Members and guests are also asked to strictly
observe the various speed signs and give particular attention
to those on horseback, motorcycles, and bicycles. General
speed limits are listed below:
SPEED LIMITS:
A. 35 MPH on Cloud 9 Drive
B. 25 MPH on all hard surface roads inside the Main
Gatehouse except where otherwise posted.
C. 20 MPH on all gravel roads
D. 15 MPH in Big Top area in season as posted.
E. 10 MPH in all campgrounds and along the stream.
F. 20 MPH on all trails, using common sense and
depending on the terrain.
G. Speeding violations may result in fines assessed
against a member. Members are responsible for
guest violations.
In case of an accident notify a Ranger or Ranch Management
as soon as possible.
10. STORAGE COMPOUNDS
The Ranch has three types of storage compounds, Locked
storage, Open storage and Temporary storage. The areas are
well lighted and patrolled regularly by Ranch Rangers. A
member is limited three (3) spaces in the storage compounds
combined. MEMBERS HAVING MORE THAN ONE (1)
MEMBERSHIP SHALL STILL BE LIMITED TO 3
SPACES.
A. LOCKED STORAGE:
1. No one is allowed inside the Locked
compounds without being accompanied
by a Ranger.
2. Parking spaces in Locked compounds
are allocated according to size and type
of unit.
3. The management reserves the right to
refuse to allow the storage of any
vehicle, equipment, or other items that
in their opinion would cause a hazard to
the other vehicles or that are considered
unsightly or unacceptable to the
membership.
4. The Club assumes NO responsibility
for anything parked in the compounds,
although as stated above, they make
every effort to assure the security of
same.
5. Anytime you put your camper or any
other item in or out of a Locked
compound there will be a nominal
charge. Trailers or other types of
equipment hauling multiple items will
be assessed as only one item. Items
being towed by another vehicle will be
assessed as an individual item.
6. Items left in Locked compounds storage
must be removed within three (3) years.
For items not removed within a three
(3) year period, a $1.00 per day storage
fee will be assessed prior to January 1,
2007 and $3.00 per day thereafter.
 7. All RV’s, vehicles, or items of a
personal property nature stored in the
compounds must have the last four
numbers of the current owner’s
membership number permanently
affixed to the front of the item for
identification purposes. The numerals
must be a minimum of 2” high.
B. OPEN STORAGE:
1. Open Storage is located behind
Compound 1.
2. A member may have one (1) item in
Open storage
3. The member must be on the property to
use Open storage.
4. All items must have the membership
number visible from the front.
5. All items in the Open storage must keep
tires inflated to keep movable.
6. Surrounding area must be kept neat
with no unsightly accumulations.
C. TEMPORARY STORAGE & DESIGNATED
OVERFLOW AREA:
1. A temporary storage area has been set
up behind compound 3&4 for flatbed
trailers, boats, cars and cargo trailers.
2. Item must have the membership
number visible from the front.
3. The member must be camped on the
property to use these areas.
D. If it becomes necessary for the Club to tow your
vehicle to a compound a fee will be charged. The club
will assume no liability for damage done to any
vehicle they may be moving or assisting.
11. CAMPFIRES AND BARBECUE GRILLS
A. Campfires in the improved camping areas are allowed
in the fire rings constructed by the Ranch and in
portable self-contained fire devices. Fires MUST be
supervised by an adult at all times. Fires must be
extinguished when not attended.
B. In primitive areas, campfires are permitted provided
they are well constructed with a ring of large rocks or
in an approved portable self-contained fire device, are
supervised at all times by an adult, and are drowned
out and scattered when you leave. This privilege is
subject to cancellation during extremely dry periods.
C. Barbecue grills are permitted in all camping areas but
are subject, of course to common sense safety rules.
Please do not put hot coals in trash cans as they will
burn through the plastic liner.
D. NO-Burn bans will apply to all outside fires.
E. An abundant supply of wood is available for a fee at
the Gatehouse.
12. PETS
A. No pets are allowed to run loose or at large except in
the unimproved areas. Pets must be on a leash in the
improved areas of the Ranch, including caves and
swimming areas of the stream.
B. Pets may not be left unattended outside.
C. Pets must be in an approved pet carrier or on a leash
not more than 10 feet long, except as in item (A)
above. The leash must be held by someone or
secured to a stake or another item capable of
securing the pet.
D. Pets are not permitted inside any Ranch building or in
pool or food areas except for service animals.
E. You are requested to observe the privacy of others and
are required to restrain your pet from being a nuisance
to your neighbors. This especially applies to dogs
barking in the campgrounds.
F. Members are responsible for “cleaning up” after their
pets. Don’t walk your pets in or through other
campsites.
G. No pets are allowed in large Ranch rental units. If a
person rents a large Ranch unit and violates the pet
policy they will be charged the daily rental fee for the
3 days necessary to “detoxify” it.
H. Owners are responsible for their pets actions.
I. PENALTIES:
1. FIRST OFFENSE: (written warning)
If a violator is written up for the rule
violation the violator MUST sign this
citation. Refusal to sign this citation
will automatically cause the violator
(and/or member) to receive a Pet
suspension, subject to review by the
Ranch Manager.
2. SECOND OFFENSE: Ten dollars
($10.00) fine. Refusal to pay the fine
will automatically cause the violator
(and/or member) to receive a pet
suspension, subject to review by the
Ranch Manager.
3. THIRD OFFENSE: Twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) fine. Refusal to pay
the fine will automatically cause the
violator (and/or member) to receive a
pet suspension, subject to review by
the Ranch Manager.
4. FOURTH OFFENSE: Suspension of
bringing and/or having any pets on
the Ranch under the violator’s
interest number and/or the owner’s
interest number for up to twelve (12)
months.
5. If the nature of the offense is serious
enough the Ranch Manager may
invoke Penalty #4 at any time, plus a
$25 fine.
6. Suspensions over thirty (30) day may
be appealed to the Board of
Directors.
J. To make the member responsible, violations will go
against the membership number. Violations will be
maintained in the member’s file for a period of 24
months
13. USE OF MOTORIZED NON-STATE LICENSED UNITS
including motorcycles, ATV’s, golf carts, mini-bikes and dirt
bikes. A set of rules will be furnished at the time of
registration.
A. AUTHORIZED UNITS:
1. Cloud 9 Ranch permits the use of
certain motorized non-state licensed
units in various designated riding areas.
The Ranch permits the use of ATV’s,
golf carts, motorcycles, dirt bikes and
mini-bikes.
2. Throughout these Rules the “ATV”
shall mean and refer to any
commercially manufactured four-wheel
 or six-wheel vehicles designed
primarily for off-road or recreational
purposes. “ATV” shall not include dune
buggies or any homemade or kit
vehicles. Management shall have
absolute discretion in determining
whether or not any unit qualifies as and
“ATV”
3. Ranch Management reserves the right
to refuse to issue registration and/or
license plates to any unit(s) deemed
unfit or inappropriate for use on Ranch
property.
B. REGISTRATION:
1. Registration of over 2 units per interest
number will require proof of ownership
for all units.
2. All non-registered units will pay the
applicable daily fee.
3. Non-registered units will be issued a
temporary license plate, which will
show the sponsoring member’s interest
number and the expiration date.
4. A nominal fee will be charged to re-
issue registration stickers to members.
The member will need to provide proof
of original purchase and return a
sufficient portion of the
damaged/transferred sticker which
shows the original sticker number
otherwise the full fee will be charged
on the re-issue.
5. The Rangers will apply the registration
stickers in an approved location.
6. All Ranch license plates will be
displayed on the rear of the unit, if at all
possible.
7. Numbers on license plates must be
minimum of 3” high.
8. Any unit operated without a valid
registration shall receive a fine and
the member will be required to
register the unit.
C. OPERATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. The minimum age is thirteen (13) for
operating ATV’s on Cloud 9 Ranch
roads. Children under thirteen (13) will
be allowed to operate ATV’s in the
riding area located behind the
compounds 3 & 4 and north of Spring
Creek. In all cases children must have
adult supervision.
2. LIMIT OF TWO (2) PERSONS ONLY
WILL BE ALLOWED ON AN ATV.
The operator must have a valid driver’s
license to carry any passenger.
CHILDREN:
a. Children age 8 and under may
ride in front or back of a parent
or other authorized person who
is age 16 or over and has a valid
driver’s license.
b. Children riding in front of the
operator must not operate the
ATV.
 c. Children 9 and over must ride in
back of the ATV operator.
ADULTS: Two adults are permitted to
ride on one (1) ATV
3. Six-wheelers will be allowed to have
three (3) persons, one (1) operating the
ATV and two (2) in the back.
4. AN OPERATOR LESS THAN
SIXTEEN (16) CANNOT CARRY A
PASSENGER. The exception is
children 13-15 may carry a parent or
guardian (only) as a passenger on Golf
carts & ATV’s
5. Maximum of three (3) people will be
allowed per seat on a golf cart as long
as the operator is sixteen (16) years of
age or older with a valid drivers license
and all occupants are seated.
6. No passengers are allowed to ride in
any wagon, trailer, cart, etc. that is
attached or pulled by any ATV.
D. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: After reading the ATV
policy, a Release of Responsibility form MUST be
signed and kept on file at the Ranger Station. All
ATV’s must be inspected at the Ranger station for
lights, mufflers, and brakes. A license plate bearing the
member’s interest number and an annual registration
sticker (see fee schedule) will be issued and attached
to each member ATV.
E. VIOLATIONS The following violation may result in
penalties as outlined below for the member and
operator:
1. Speeding
2. Reckless driving
3. Underage drivers
4. More than the allowed number per unit.
5. Riding in hayfields
6. Driving across other member’s pads
7. Blazing new trails
8. Riding after dark without lights
9. Spinning wheels and riding recklessly
10. Inadequate muffler system
11. Passing of other vehicles unless they
pull on to the shoulder of the road.
12. Side-by-side riding
13. Operating without license plate and/or
registration sticker
14. Intoxication
15. No destruction of stream bed.
F. PENALTIES:
1. FIRST OFFENSE: (verbal/written
warning) If a violator is written up for
the rule violation the violator MUST
sign this citation. Refusal to sign this
citation will automatically cause the
violator (and/or member) to receive an
ATV suspension, subject to review by
the Ranch Manager.
2. SECOND OFFENSE: Ten dollars
($10.00) fine. Refusal to pay the fine
will automatically cause the violator
(and/or member) to receive an ATV
suspension, subject to review by the
Ranch Manager.
3. THIRD OFFENSE: Twenty-five dollars
($25.00) fine. Refusal to pay the fine
 will automatically cause the violator
(and/or member) to receive an ATV
suspension, subject to review by the
Ranch Manager.
4. FOURTH OFFENSE: Suspension of
ALL ATV’s under the violator’s
interest number and/or the owner’s
interest number for up to twelve (12)
months.
5. If the nature of the offense is serious
enough the Ranch Manager may invoke
Penalty #4 at any time.
6. Suspensions over thirty (30) day may
be appealed to the Board of Directors.
Violation go against the membership, to make the member
responsible for anyone riding an ATV with his number on it
Violations will be maintained in the member’s file for a period
of 24 months.
14. HUNTING
A. HUNTING RULES:
1. Cloud 9 Ranch hunting permits are
required and must be visible at all times
for all hunting on Cloud 9 Ranch.
2. A Missouri State Hunting Permit
MUST be shown to obtain a Ranch
permit. One (1) permit covers all game.
3. All Missouri Game Laws will be
observed, including road hunting.
4. Hunting season on Cloud 9 Ranch
conform to Missouri Dept. of
Conservation.
5. ALL WEAPONS (GUN & BOWS)
WILL BE UNLOADED & ENCASED
WHILE BEING TRANSPORTED ON
THE RANCH IN OR ON ANY
VEHICLE, INCLUDING ATV’S.
SIDE ARMS SHALL NOT BE WORN
IN CAMPGROUNDS OR RANCH
FACILITIES.
6. Memberships may have one (1) hunter
guest per calendar year. Sponsoring
member or associate member must be
on the Ranch for the guest hunter to
hunt.
7. The use of rifles for any hunting will be
limited to the Rifle Deer Hunting area.
This includes hunting game with a 22
rifle. Vehicles must have the Cloud 9
Ranch issued vehicle tag hanging on the
rear view mirror.
8. All persons hunting outside the gate
must check in and check out with the
Gatehouse daily that they are hunting
and give their name, license number
and make of vehicle.
9. All game taken MUST be reported to
the gate.
10. No permanent deer stand or anything
else that will damage the tree will be
allowed. Portable stands may be erected
providing they do not deface trees.
Each stand must have the name, interest
number, & date of set-up securely
attached. Stand MUST be removed
after deer hunting season.
 11. If management is called on to kill a
wounded animal. It will be turned over
to the Missouri Dept. of Conservation
for disposal to a needy family, or with
the Dept.’s approval, frozen for a wild
game feed for the Ranch
12. Hunting hours will be restricted to one
half hour before sunrise and one half
hour after sunset. No night hunting will
be allowed except for a scheduled hunt
approved by the Ranch Manager.
13. Spotlighting game at night is prohibited
per state of Missouri Conservation
laws.
HUNTING AREAS: Maps available at designated
location(s).
1. No hunting within 150 yards on either side
of the Cloud 9 Ranch drive.
2. No hunting within 150 yards of any Ranch
facility and/or as outlined in BLUE on the
Ranch map.
3. Deer hunting is confined to specific areas
as outlined on the Ranch map.
4. Seven (7) acre triangle North of KK Hwy is
a bow hunting area ONLY.
VIOLATIONS: Violators will have their case reviewed by a
three (3) member panel consisting of one (1) member of the
Board of Directors, one (1) member of the Conservation
Committee and one (1) member from the general membership.
Members will either appear in person or via phone.
VIOLATION PENALTIES:
1. Loss of privileges
2. Confiscation of Game
3. Or a fine not to exceed $50
Sponsoring members WILL be responsible for their guest.
15. FISHING
A. GENERAL: Fishing in ponds and the stream is
permitted any where on the Ranch, except as posted. A
permit issued at the Gatehouse is required and is good
on Ranch property only. All annual permits expire
December 31st of each year. Possession limits can be
changed if deemed necessary and/or appropriate.
B. FISHING RULES: A complete set of fishing rules will
be furnished to you at the time of the fishing permit.
1. License period will be January 1st
through December 31st. There will be
no fishing on Cloud 9 Ranch without a
fishing permit. Fishing permit must be
worn so as to be visible from the rear at
all times.
2. Cloud 9 Ranch Fishing Permits are not
transferable. Every person (man,
woman, or child) must possess a fee
fishing permit to fish for Rainbow
Trout or any other species in the
impounded waters of the Ranch. This
includes the area from the east side of
Fogey Hollow crossing easterly
throughout Spring Creek, including
Wilder Spring and cold Cave Spring.
Children 12 and under may fish in the
ponds of Cloud 9 Ranch. They must
secure and wear their “Ponds Only “
free permit while fishing in the ponds.
3. THE LIMIT ON RAINBOW TROUT
PER DAY IS FIVE (5). No more than
 five (5) trout will be on the same
stringer or creel per day. Possession is
ten (10) per permit holder or twenty
(20) trout per family, whichever is
smaller.
4. Catch & Release will only be allowed
when fishing with artificial lures or
flies.
5. Please do not clean, gut or scale your
fish in the stream. Clean your fish at
your campsite and dispose of the
remains in a sealed plastic bag.
6. No swimming or wading in marked
areas. Fishermen are not allowed to
wade on the spring side of the marked
area. No fishing within 25 yards
upstream or 25 yards downstream of the
Fogey Hollow tubes swimming area.
Floaters and fisherman are asked to
respect each others activity.
7. Your fishing permit is issued subject to
your observance of the rules and
regulation of Cloud 9 Ranch and the
Missouri Wildlife Code. The Game
Wardens and Rangers have the power
to enforce all of these rules.
8. No fishing or frogging will be allowed
in the fishing areas of the stream after
legal fishing hours.
9. Chumming (feeding) of fish to assist
catching is not permitted.
10. Deliberate snagging or foul hooking of
trout and unsportsmanlike conduct is
strictly against the rule. Fisherman will
be limited to the use of one (1) pole
with one (1) lure or hook.
11. One Person may assist another by
netting the fish.
12. All day Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
from the Saturday preceding Memorial
Day until the Tuesday following Labor
day, fishing will be reserved for
children 12 years of age and under at
the Fogey Mudhole only. Adults may
be with their children at this site, but
will not be allowed to fish there during
these hours. Persons over the age of 12
may fish in the other areas of the stream
during this time.
13. Children 5 and under may fish for trout
in the stream.
14. Member’s guests may purchase fishing
permits, see Fee Schedule for types and
fees. Member must accompany guest
when purchase is made. Day guests
may be issued one (1) 7-day Guest
Fishing Permit per year.
15. Fishing will be closed in the stocked
areas of the stream from the time of
stocking until Saturday morning.
16. Night fishing for Rainbow Trout is not
permitted. Fishing hours for Rainbow
Trout are as follows:
March 6:30 am – 6:00pm

16. HIKING AND CAVE EXPLORING 19. GENERAL COMMENTS
A. LAWNS, PLANTS, TREES, AND SHRUBS:

3. Littering is not permitted.
B. WATER POLLUTION:
1. The littering of our streams and ponds
with waste or garbage is strictly
prohibited.
2. Do not build rock dams or otherwise
impede the natural flow of water in the
spring or streams.
3. Do not wash clothing or cooking
utensils with household detergents in
ponds or streams.
4. No riding in the stream except to cross
in approved areas.
5. No ATV washing in the stream.
6. No destruction of streambed.
C. ALCOHOL: There is no objection to the moderate use
of alcoholic beverages by persons 21 and over, except
where prohibited. Transportation of alcohol on the
Ranch must be done by persons 21 and over. Alcohol
at all locations on the Ranch including campsites and
vehicles must be secured to prevent accessibility by
persons under 21 years of age.
D. FIREARMS:
1. Firearms are not permitted as posted.
2. Firearms being transported in improved
areas must be encased & unloaded at all
times.
E. SMOKING:
1. No smoking in designated areas.
2. Underage smoking is prohibited.
F. INTERFERENCE WITH QUIET ENJOYMENT:
Interference with other members, guests or employees
of Cloud 9 Ranch Club, Inc. is strictly forbidden. Any
person who engages in a course of conduct that is
threatening, offensive or harassing with one or more
members, guests or employees of Cloud 9 Ranch Club,
Inc. shall be subject to discipline, including restriction
of privileges or suspension from Cloud 9 Ranch. Like
in other cases, if the offending person is a guest of a
member then the member shall be deemed responsible
for the actions of the guest.
G. RULE CHANGES AND MODIFICATION: These
rules may be changed from time to time by the Board
of Directors of Cloud 9 Ranch Club, Inc., as may be
necessary or convenient to discharge the duties and
responsibilities imposed on it by the bylaws and
restrictions. No rule may be adopted which is
inconsistent with the bylaws and restrictions of Cloud
9 Ranch Club, Inc., and/or laws of the state of
Missouri. All such rule changes shall be in effect until
the next annual meeting where they shall be approved,
amended or rescinded by a vote of the membership.
H. EXTENDED USE OF CAMPING FACILITIES:
Members staying for extended periods of time during
the peak season may be required to move from the
improved campgrounds to primitive (semi-improved)
area after a reasonable time so that those members
who are here less frequently and for shorter periods, of
time may receive their fair share of the use of the
Ranch facilities.
I. VIOLATION OF RULES: Any act or omission
whereby any of these rules is violated in whole or part
by a voting member can result in such voting member
being assessed for the cost of correcting such
violation. In addition, his/her rights and privileges as
an owner of the Ranch and a member of Cloud 9
Ranch Club, Inc. may be suspended. However, no
suspension for a violation hereof shall be effective for
more than 30 day without a hearing before a
committee designated by the Board of Directors of
Cloud 9 Ranch Club, Inc. For purposes of this
provision, the violation of these rules by an associate
member or guest shall be deemed to be a violation by
the voting member from whom such associate member
derives his associate membership in cloud 9 Ranch
Club, Inc. or the voting member who invited such
guest.
