CORROSION PROTECTION

As a result of extensive field tests the Hoiophane Companv has devisecl a series of special flnishes
designecl to provide corrosion protection. T'hese hnishes

are known as PRISMATECT.pRrsMArECr is applied as a precisely regulated coating

and is baked under controlled conditions.

Once cured, pRisMArECr becomes

inert and willnot

readily react chemically rvith other materials.

pRrsMArECr (P-1) provides protection in conditions where

the equipment is exposed to all grades of chemicals or fumes-miid to harsh-and for outdoor areas
exposed to extreme salt atmospheres. Order b)'adding

MECHANICAL ADVANTAGES

and listing by the Canadian Standard Association Testing Laboratories as approved, assure suita-

bility in areas where protection from

and dust is required.

moisture

by push-button operation makes possible on-the-ground cleaning by hand or by immersion in detergent solutions for areas of severe oily and sticky atmospheres.
sealed

assured by lens

seating against closed cell neoprene gasket attached

firmly to aluminum body. permits easy cleaning and relamping. No tools required for entry into ballast section.
simplifies maintenance and

from end to end, each unit available with optional neoprene gasket for sealing wireway from one unit to next.
no lips or protrusions fixture body to catch and hold dust or dirt.

PHOTOMETRIC ADVANTAGES
Permits use of minimum number of units v/hile achieving lighting-level uniformity.
broadly spread across ceiling illuminates overpipes, head valves and provides brightness relief.

distribution is of prime importance where vertical tasks are performed (gauges, meters, painting, etc.). permits use without distraction or
discomfort even at very low mounting heights.
