Student is advised to: Propose a research topic Meet potential supervisor: o to obtain his/her consent o to discuss and agree on the research topic.

Week 4 Week 12
Each student should nominate only one supervisor. If necessary, a co-supervisor can be nominated. ONLY completed form will be processed. Student will be notified by email upon approval of the nomination. ONLINE REGISTRATION: CGS will register students for Masters Project once the nomination of supervisor is approved. Student prepares the following chapters under supervision Student and supervisor are to communicate with each other at least 4 times in a semester (e.g. face-to-face, Chapter 1: Introduction e-mail, forum, telephone) Chapter 2 : Literature Review Chapter 3: Methodology Student submits to CGS: CGSR03 PROGRESS REPORT FORM Supervisor is to sign the progress report form. At the end of the first semester, student will be given the status of IP (In Progress).

Week 1 Week 12
ONLINE REGISTRATION: Student registers for Masters Project. Student prepares the following chapters under supervision. Student and supervisor are to communicate with each other at least 4 times in a semester (e.g. face-to-face, Chapter 4: Data Analysis and e-mail, forum, telephone) Results Chapter 5 : Discussion and Conclusion Supervisor will assess the Masters Project and submit to CGS a Masters Project Evaluation Form Student submits to and a written report (CGSR08). supervisor: ONE (1) softbound copy (ring/comb binding) of the full report The letter grades for the Masters Project are from A to F, with C as the minimum pass grade(subject to CGPA 3.00) Supervisor is given TWO (2) weeks to evaluate and send the marks to CGS. A reviewer will be appointed to moderate the evaluation of the Masters Project by the supervisor. The reviewer is to submit to CGS a written report together with the Masters Project Evaluation Form (CGSR08). Students will be notified via email on any formatting correction. For MIT, MITN, MMC, MES (IWRM), MIS (CI), MPM & MSE, an oral presentation is required. Student will be notified by CGS the date, time and venue of the oral presentation
Week 13
Student submits to CGS: TWO (2) softbound copies (ring/comb binding) of the full report AND CGSR03 PROGRESS REFORT FORM -ONE (1) copy will be sent to a reviewer by CGS -ONE (1) copy for format checking by CGS CGS receives the Masters Project Evaluation form and a written report (CGSR08) from supervisor and appoints a reviewer. CGS sends ONE (1) softbound copy to a Reviewer CGS receives the Masters Project Evaluation form and a written report from the reviewer. Student submits to CGS: ONE (1) softcopy in the form of CD.
Week 15
Week 16
A reviewer is given TWO (2) weeks to moderate the supervisor s evaluation and submit the Masters Project Reviewer Evaluation form and a written report to CGS (CGSR08A). Students will be notified via email on approval.
Week 18
Students may view the result once it is approved by the University Examination Committee.
