MANUAL DE INSTALACIN DE ORACLE 10G

WINDOWS XP SP2

Intention: In this manual one wants to create a general vision on the installation and configuration de Oracle 10gen The platform of Windows xp sp2.

The manual contains a series of stepwise (with captures of screen) of Oracle's installation in Windows, as well as a brief explanation of every pantallazo doing that is understandable for the user.

Introduction: Oracle is basically a tool client / servant for the relational management of Databases.

The database Oracle is a relational system of administration of database (RDBMS). The relational model (in a simple way) consists of using two-dimensional tables to store the information.

It consists of three basic elements: Tables Set of operators to manipulate these tables Rules of integrity

It is a product sold worldwide, though the great power that has and his high price do that only one sees in very big and multinational companies, for general norm.

Installation

1. Once already obtained Oracle 10g en Windows xp sp2 We will select the option of the way of Advanced installation.

2. Once selected the advanced way, we happen to choose the type of needed installation, in this case we happen a (Standard Edition 1.08gb).

Select this method of installation for any of the following tasks: to realize a personalized installation of the software or to select a configuration different from

the

database.

3. The assistant of installation will check if the environment expires with

all the

minimal requirements to install and to form the selected products. If there is some element marked with warning it will have verify manually. We will pulsate "Following" to continue:

Once checked, it will show us a window with the progress of the installation.

Once finished the configuration of the assistant of Oracle's database 10g, it shows us a final summary of the installation of the base.
