1) Concierge Services for Businesses

a) Demand-driven Challenge Statements: We are time-starved and need to run errands and undertake some of the more mundane tasks but we do not seem to have the time to do it. We would be happy to pay someone especially a trusted service provider who is reliable and can be depended upon to take care of these tasks and errands b) Example: The range of concierge services may range from getting someone to collect a passport on their behalf, arranging flights and hotel accommodations for business travel, restaurant recommendation and reservations, booking of tickets for a show or entertainment activity, arranging for laundry drop-off and collection, shopping and delivery of goods, escorting a staff to the designated transport pick-up point (including bus stop) at night to ensure safety of the staff, sending car for servicing and returning it, arranging for catering for meetings and events, etc. These are likely to be tasks that cannot be outsourced to a courier company and an element of trust and reliability is needed. c) Possible Solution: It will be critical for the solution or system to be developed to allow the customers to be able to be matched to the most relevant service provider based on the tasks to be done, skill set, trust, reliability and availability when needed. d) Sample of Target Market: Busy executives in corporations and anyone who do not mind paying a reasonable fee to get some of these errands and tasks to be done by service providers.

2) Community Market Place

a) Demand-driven Challenge Statements: We have been searching all over the Internet and Yellow Pages for a supplier, only to find out that a potential supplier is the tenant company which is either our next door neighbour in the same building or indeed a tenant company in the building next door. Time would have been saved if there is a community market place where we can find out products, services, applications and solutions offered within the community. iAxil 2013 Page 2 of 4

b) Example: Sometimes, there are many tenant companies in a building and even though they occupy premises in the same building, the employees who work in each of these companies may not know each other and would usually not know about the services that others are offering. In this Internet day and age, no one uses physical directories anymore and online directories are often not based on a community. c) Possible Solution: The requirements go beyond directory listing. It needs to be able to extract basic information from the companys website and also obtain information from other online sources such as articles, press releases, marketing collaterals, partners websites, and other sources. The base information must then be aggregated into useful and easily readable information to enable future customers to understand the providers track record and service offerings. This will enable interested parties to make informed decisions. The privacy of the providers is also protected as information are aggregated and distilled from public sources. This should be a marketplace that can foster synergies and close collaboration amongst the tenant companies, where leads and resources can be shared. d) Sample Target Market: This solution should be targeted at trade associations and their member companies, alumni, owners of shopping malls, and developers of industrial and high-tech buildings, or multinational corporations with multiple business units in different countries that need greater in-company collaboration.

3) Maximizing our Lunchtime Hours For Companies Located in NonCommercial Areas

a) Demand-driven Challenge Statements: Working in remote locations far away from the city or in a location that does not have commercial and retail facilities shopping malls, eateries with interesting food, coffee clubs or fitness clubs can make weekday work life very dull. There are not much (non-work related) activities that we can undertake during lunch breaks. b) Example: A high percentage of the working population is dispersed in work locations that do not easy accessibility to commercial facilities such as shopping malls. It will be of interest to bring activities such as pop-up stores, short movie screenings, plays, informal fashion shows, lunchtime talks on interesting topics on lifestyles and lunch-time bazaars into these remote locations. c) Possible Solution: This may be a platform to match available space in these remote locations to event organizers. And to provide event organizers with data and insights on the demographics and preference of the local population so that the relevant and appropriate events can be brought into these locations. The event organizer can be a professional firm or an individual working in the remote estates. d) Sample Target Market: This serves venues where the working population is still sizeable but does not have access to commercial facilities and interesting activities during lunchtime.

4) Sharing, Communicating and Collaborating Across Different Locations

a) Demand-driven Challenge Statements: Our business has been expanding regionally. We face the challenge of having a diverse workforce across several countries which needs to access and share information so that we can undertake collaborative projects among team members who iAxil 2013 Page 3 of 4

are located in different countries using different telecommunications network and infrastructure. It will be optimal if the system or solution can capture both tacit information and knowledge so that we can identify subject matter experts for future use. b) Example: A corporation has offices in Singapore and Vietnam where the telecommunication connectivity differs. The corporation needs a solution whereby staff in the 2 countries is able to share information, communicate and collaborate without being constrained by the different equipment and network infrastructure. The solution should also be able to provide an indication on who are the subject matter experts so that team members can bring in the relevant subject matter experts into the discussion using the system. c) Possible Solution 1: The challenge is to develop a scalable professional file sharing and collaboration solution for their mobile workforce or staff who are operating remotely. It will be necessary to consider digital security for mobile devices, compression of data, integrating old world computing with new wave of mobile devices/ tablets, social media, etc. The solution should allow information to be organized in an intuitive manner around projects, context and people not just files and folders. Possible Solution 2: Another solution would be a VOIP system with portable numbers that follows the user regardless of the countries they are in, and that the company subscribing the service will be able to enjoy lower costs of telecommunications. d) Sample Target Market: This serves organizations and companies that have staff that are frequently on the road and/or have offices that are geographically dispersed. This includes organizations that have flexi-arrangement for staff to work from home.
