GREENING PRINCETON organizes on-campus sustainability initiatives like Waste Reduction, Greening Athletics, Greening Dorms, and Greening the Street. ohoward@ or msemenov@ SURGE (Students United for a Responsible Global Environment) is an advocacy group for action on climate change, currently spearheading the Divest Princeton campaign. islederm@ GREENING DINING is a subcommittee that meets directly with Dining Services every month to make the food we eat better for the environment and for our health. cherskov@ SUSTAINABLE FASHION INITIATIVE is dedicated to cultivating a culture of sustainability in the fashion industry and runs fashion contests, shows, and speakers. mapartri@ THE GARDEN PROJECT runs an organic garden near Forbes College, supplying the dining hall with fresh produce and demonstrating how students can take local food production into their own hands. npeyton@ THE BEE TEAM cares for a set of hives at the West Windsor fields, producing yummy honey every year and educating the campus community about the ecological importance of bees. bdenzer@ THE PRINCETON OFFICE OF SUSTAINABILITY is the department at Princeton dedicated to setting and meeting ambitious sustainability goals.
