Instructor’s Profile:

Prof. Chowdari Prasad is a Post Graduate in Commerce from Osmania University,


Hyderabad. He holds professional qualifications like CAIIB and Certificate in Industrial
Finance (IIBF), Diplomas in Training and Development (ISTD), Merchant Banking,
Industrial Relations, Computer Programming, etc. He is a life member of IIBF, ISTD,
AIMA and other professional bodies. He is now pursuing his Doctorate in Business
Administration (Ph.D) in Banking. Also, Financial Services, Entrepreneurship, Micro
Finance and Industrial Relations are his other areas of academic interest and
research.

Prof Prasad has about 25 years experience in Banking in various capacities like Chief
Manager at SBI (Hyderabad / Mumbai) and Vice President of Vysya Bank Leasing Ltd.,
Bangalore. Besides, he was Vice President in a 100% EOU in Hyderabad for 3 years.
Prior to joining Alliance Business School in the year 2006 as Professor and Registrar,
he was with TAPMI, Manipal for over 7 years as Associate Professor and Chairman
(Admissions). He has presented/published Papers in Banking, Financial Services and
Management in leading banking journals and at national and international
conferences.
