Give thanks to God for: The sure promise of His victory over death in Christ, and the eternal life won for us; and for Ken Maces and Charles Suttons improved health Please pray for: The communities of Boston, Massachusetts and West, Texas The family of Jack Pritchard; Beth Bowman; Charles Sutton; Julia Woolfolk; Erika Tabor, and her grandmother, Melanie; Becky Reeves; Mary Chenoweth; Hannah Siboles mother, Melanie; Ben Gordon; Bev Proffitt; Nela Bostian; Betty Clough; Bob Brooks; Elizabeth Gee; Ann Pais nephew Paul, with ALS; Juliette Harriman White; Susan Farrells grandmother Mary Lou (Uh Oh) and father, Jim; Carlos Juara, facing vocational challenges; Rosie and George Turner; Steve Cobb and his family Our Session, for wisdom, patience, faith, compassion, obedience, humility, and love Stuart Chapman, William Bridenstine, David Russell, Chris Pais, Mike Child, and Jessica, serving in our nations Armed Forces Our Missions Ministry (Kent Cardwell, Jack Corley, Susan Pillsbury David, Susan Farrell, Matt Hartman [chair], Jessica Reveley, Nelson Reveley, Dawson Watkins), for guidance and encouragement as they seek to follow Gods Spirit in reaching out to the community and the world; and for the Flower Ministry (Lisa Cardwell, Lisa Gray, and Jane Nelson), with thanksgiving for their ministry of beauty and visitation The Community Garden Ministry, that its reach may expand even wider this year, to embrace more people with the love of Christ; and for Beth Baleke, during her sojourn here in the US, and as she prepares to bring us the Word next Sunday The Spirit of the Resurrection in Metropolitan Richmond: To remove any spirit of contentiousness, prejudice, greed, jealousy, or enjoyment of others troubles; for spiritual renewal, leading to prayer and care for all regardless of race, national origin, religion, income, or neighborhood
