different. My mother’s hair color is
blonde but my father’s is brown. Me and
my sister both have brown hair but a little
lighter than my dad’s. Why?

Brown is a dominant color in genes. This
means that brown is usually stronger
than the other colors. We think this fact
is the reason you and you sister have
both brown hair. Just maybe the fact that
your mother has blonde hair made your
brown lighter, or that maybe your father
used to have brown hair but it got darker
