The Forever Delicious products are increasingly becoming popular in the local market. Bearing in mind the 5Cs principles of effective communication, complete the following parts of the proposal to the General Manager, suggesting for the organization to sponsor a reality show on TV. You are advised to include your own additional information whenever necessary.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Forever Delicious is the first shariah telecommunication service provider in the world. We are set to transform our customers perceptions of telecommunications by offering products and services that are guided by shariah principles and the five pillars of Islam. From the first year of establishment until now, we have captured 20% of the total market in Malaysia. So, in order to expand our business further and capturing more Malaysian users, sponsoring a popular reality show like Imam Millennium may be a good opportunity. Therefore, a total allocation of RM 50,000 will be sponsored for the program which can help to increase the brands image and brands recognition.

INTRODUCTION Background

Imam Millennium is a new reality program that creates a phenomenon in Malaysia. Its popularity has attracted the foreign media such as the Swiss dailyTagesanzeiger. The program is different from other reality shows that only emphasizes on singing or dancing because Imam Muda that creating a pool of exemplary young imams and using their help to combat the social and moral decadence. This shows that the program itself has developed the good image from Malaysian society perspective. Therefore, it is an opportunity for our company to sponsor the program which we believe it can help to give a good publicity to our company. Based from the Marketing Department studies, it shows that through sponsorship, it could provides a great means of broadening our competitive edge by improving our company's image, prestige and credibility.

Data Sources

The data used to create this proposal came from the research made by Marketing department and also from the data collected from Nielsen Company which helping us to know the exact popularity rating of the Imam Millennium program.

Problem

The recent survey that we conducted to our customer shows that almost 90% of them agreed that we have manage to deliver a good service telecommunication provider which is better than our competitors. However, majority of them agreed that our company needs to have more publicity in promoting our business to the society. Refer to the Appendix 1 for the breakdown of the responses.

Solution (2 marks)

Solution

Forever Delicious can sponsor the program by giving a sponsor for the winners cash prizes for RM 50,000. This is because, the program has allocated the bungalow and the car for the first and second winners. So, our company can sponsor the cash prizes for the third and fourth winner which each of them would receive RM 30,000 and RM 20,000 respectively. As a return, our companys logo may be broadcasted at the end of the show and our companys name as one of their sponsors will be mentioned in every episodes.
Objective

The purpose of this proposal is to improve the companys promotion by broadcasting our business through television instead of using the newspaper. This may help the companys brand to gain more awareness from the audience.

Assessment of cost

The proposal is suggesting the company to sponsor a cash prize for the winners. Therefore, the total allocation may be RM 50,000. To save our budget, we can cut the allocation from newspaper publicity and use it for funding the program.

Conclusion

Forever Delicious is a fast growing company and since it first establishment in 2007, it has created a fierce competition to other existing firms. Based on the excellence strategy that we have implemented, we have achieved many outstanding achievements and targets. So, in order to create more brand awareness among the Malaysian society, sponsoring the Imam Millennium program is an excellent opportunity to create brand recognition to the society at large. Therefore, we recommend that RM 50,000 will be allocated for sponsorship and it is hoped that the companys brand will be recognized to the Malaysias society at large.
