O Goddess! O Mother, Who is very beautiful, Who

dwells at the bank of the River Pravar
a, Who is putforth by the Vedas, Who roams in the Ks.ras
agara
ocean, Who is known as N
ar
ayan., Who is present in
the heart, Who is the summary of the creation, Who is
the basis of existence, Who is wealth and knowledge,
Who delightfully protects those who seek protection,
and Who is worthy of praise from the groups of sages!
Be victorious, be victorious. Absolve me, who has fallen
into the well of metempsychosis here.[12]
O Goddess! O Mother, Who is very beautiful, Who
has a face like that of a divine moon, Who has teeth
like shiny jasmine flowers, Whose nails of the feet are
enough to humble the beauty of Madana (Kamadeva),
Who destroyed the demons Madhu and Kait.abha,
Who has bloomed lotus-like eyes, Who reclines on the
coils of the serpent-king, Who has the king of birds
(Garud.a) as a vehicle, Who is complex, and Who
burns away the forest-like troubles! Be victorious, be
victorious. Absolve me, who has fallen into the well of
metempsychosis here.[34]
O Goddess! O Mother, Who is very beautiful, Who
has anklets marked in Her feet, Who has ornaments
made of jewels and pearls, Who is wrapped up with apparel, Who has a beautiful lotus like face, Who absolves

the disease and fear of Sakra

(Indra), Who causes
bliss to the Brahman, Who is the final refuge, and
Who absolved Gaja and Gr
aha! Be compassionate
on me. Be victorious, be victorious. Absolve me, who
has fallen into the well of metempsychosis here.[56]

Having slayed the neck of R

ahu, You saved the
demi-gods from death. You give the all-protecting divine nectar of immortality to the demi-gods. You make

the best and skilful demons fight in battles. O the One

Who gives boon to Madhvamuni! Protect the devotees. O Goddess! O Mother, Who is very beautiful! Be
7 victorious, be victorious. Absolve me, who has fallen
into the well of metempsychosis here.[78]

Notes:
1 This eulogy is written on Mohini, the incarnation
8 of Vis.n.u, envisioned as a Divine Mother. It is really
beautiful in metaphors and the concept seems rare to
us as well. We hope you will like it.
