F. Assessment: What will you use to measure student understanding? I will use a formal assessment of chapter 12 and 13 to measure students understanding of entire unit taught over the past 2 weeks. Answer sheets are attached. Explain how you will know students understand the concepts from the lesson. Adequate understanding of content will be known when students can complete the unit test with 80% accuracy and 100% completion. G. Reflection: 1. Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach? This really isnt a detailed lesson being taught but rather a review session for students 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? There shouldnt be a challenging part of teaching this lesson since the teacher will only be reviewing content with students and answering any questions they might have. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? This is the end of the unit so there wont be much of an extension to the lesson although concepts could be brought up in future units regarding various wars. 4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? I will try to correct all misconception and answer any last questions students might have prior to giving the assessment. 5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? There are many ways for teachers to conduct review sessions. Playing various games could be considered instead of just doing the review sections out of the book. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? This was a really easy lesson to write since it was not introducing any new content.
