The focus is securing funding for plastic recycling and creating viable models that can be adopted by start-up companies. The company will specialize in recycling plastic into pellets. This includes the following: Sourcing plastic waste material (LLDPE, LDPE & HDPE) Grading and sorting services for plastic waste material Washing of plastic waste material Recycling and pelletizing of plastic waste material Selling and distributing high quality recycled polyethylene pellets to various plastic converters (plastic product manufacturers including industrial piping, Boardwalk & Deck planking, poles, pallets & Outdoor furniture manufacturers)

WORK HISTORY November 2009 July 2012 IT Manager (Postbank and Post Office) I worked for the Postbank under financial services as IT Manager. My main tasks and accountabilities focus was to plan and manage delivery of information Services (IS) in support of business objectives and on -going operations in respect of specific business units within SAPO and the corporate division. This includes systems and project management, nd rd change requests or management, 2 and 3 level operational support. I work closely with specific business units within SAPO, business end users, and service providers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives and ultimately responsible for delivery of services which may be project and / or support related. developing some component of a node communication framework (which is like a secure ad hoc network) using concurrency technique based on threads coupled with socket programming (TCP/IP programming) for nodes that acts as servers and developing protocol communication for secure communication among nodes. Another component on this communication framework is the one that handles the securing of data on transmit and received stored data using symmetric cryptography. Other projects involvement is to be part of the red (offensive) and blue team (defensive) to conduct research around wireless security, network security and to participate in doing these tasks (war gaming the security infrastructure).

ICT Security Researcher (COMSEC) Main tasks and accountabilities at Electronic Communications Security (Pty) Ltd, generally known as COMSEC focused on the development of state-owned products and the enhancement of existing products to ensure complete security integrity and best fit design. As team (R&D team) also verify and accredit existing solutions. This emphasis is on research and proactive response strategy. Also provide consultancy services on the security and protection of electronic communications services, systems and products, and co-ordinate research and development with regard to electronic communications security systems, products, services and any other related services. Responsible for advising on Security Requirements and drafting those artefacts (documents) Also working on drafting the product evaluation framework of security products Participate on partnership meetings on Biometric research initiatives in partnership with CSIR and SAGEM, disk encryption, quantum cryptography, PKI technology initiatives in partnership with SAPO Coordinate weekly Research group meeting

Do pilots and testing of new products and conduct Proof of Concepts (POC) and presenting results to the executive management. Course (s) done: Cryptography and network security Security Domain(s): Cryptography My involvement on this area was to review on going trends on this field and scrutinize, examine current implemented technologies that need cryptography to secure data and advise the organs of state on the recent developments and also design an implementable design to ensure complete integrity, confidentiality, availability and the best fit design. This also required engaging stakeholders on latest developments and also submit the requirements to suppliers and developers to provide relevant technologies for various organs of state depending on their need of securing data based on the classification of data Information security and Part of Risk Management My involvement was to engage the technical experts in various

departments within COMSEC also inviting external speakers to present different products, designs, conceptual concepts on Access control and cryptography in the form of research group meetings and also organizing crush coarse on information security as tool to create awareness around the dangers of neglecting information security (this including presentation on different security domains and their importance). Also was involved in engaging different suppliers and also doing proof of concepts (POC) on biometrics products from various suppliers and also conducting full disk encryptions POC and advising on various attacks on these systems like cold boot attack on encryption keys etc.

May 2006 - March 2007 Systems/Business Analyst (at CSIR) Responsible for translating identified needs into requirements and conceptual solutions that will enable execution of projects and initiatives from inception to implementation and will act as an interface between researchers and users & stakeholders. The project is known as the National Accessibility Portal (NAP), it aims is to enhance the development and independence of persons with disabilities. This is achieved through the creation of a highly innovative and efficient information and communication system. The NAP will enable people with different disabilities to access information and services, and to interact and communicate irrespective of age, gender, language and level of literacy. The system is based on Internet technologies and use open source software to provide affordable alternatives. (It is aligned with the strategy of the New Partnership for Africa 's Development (NEPAD) and with the goal of the Africa Decade of Persons with Disabilities (1999 to 2009) to empower persons with disabilities in Africa MAIN TASK(S) AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for requirements elicitation Responsible for analyzing the requirements to determine the system needs to fulfil those requirements Responsible for understanding the business and making recommendations for improvement Responsible for use-case modelling by outlining the system's functionality and delimiting the system; for example, establishing what actors and use cases exist, and how they interact.
