RECAP: Tacoma scored 3 runs combined in the 7th and 8th innings to come-from-behind to defeat Tucson 4-2 on Wednesday night. It
was the Rainiers 8th consecutive victory. The 8-game winning streak is the Rainiers longest since stringing together wins in 9 consecutive
games from June 29-July 8, 2010. Tacoma is now 7 games over .500 for the first time since August 8th of that same season. Starter
Andrew Carraway (6.0,5,2,2,3,6) allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 6.0 innings, but didnt figure into the decision. RH Johnny Nunez
(2.0,2,0,0,0,1) recorded the win with 2.0 scoreless innings in relief, while LH Bobby LaFromboise (1.0,1,0,0,0,1) earned his 1st save of
the season with a scoreless 9th inning. RF Carlos Peguero (2x3, R, 2B, RBI, BB), SS Carlos Triunfel (2x3, R, RBI, HBP) and DH Scott

leagues Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 22-28. Over the last 7 days, Franklin has batted .474 (9x19) with 7 runs scored, 3
doubles, 1home run, 6RBI and 6 walks in 5 games. Franklin ranked 10th in the league with 9 hits over that span, highlighted by a 5-for-5
outing at Las Vegas on April 25 He was the 2nd Rainiers player to record at least 5 hits in a game, while reaching base 6 times reaching
with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 2 RBI and 1 walk. Carraway flirted with a no-hitter in his lone appearance last week on April 26 at Las
Vegas. He held the 51s hitless through 6.1 innings and ended the night surrendering just 2 hits and striking out 5 batters through 7.0
scoreless frames. He has earned a win in each of his last three starts and has compiled a 3.38 ERA through 5 outings this season. This
marks the first time Tacoma has swept the weekly league awards since Abraham Nunez won Player of the Week honors and Masao Kida
won Pitcher of the Week accolades June 13-19, 2005. OF Mike Wilson (June 11-18, 2012) was the last Rainiers player to be named Player
of the Week, and RH Erasmo Ramirez (May 29-June 4, 2012) was the last Tacoma pitcher to be named PCL Pitcher of the Week.

RECAP: The Generals scored 3 runs in the first inning and another 4 runs in the the 6th inning as
Jackson defeated Jacksonvilled 9-1 on Wednesday night. Starter Taijuan Walker (6.0,3,1,1,2,7)
recorded his 3rd win of the season, allowing 1 run on 3 hits in 6.0 innings. Relievers Kyle Hunter
(1.0,0,0,0,0,2), Moises Hernandez (1.0,1,0,0,0,0) and Forrest Snow (1.0,0,0,0,0,2) combined be
hold the Suns scoreless over the final 3.0 innings. RF James Jones (4x4, R, 3 2B, 3 RBI, BB) and
LF Abraham Almonte (4x5, 2 R, 2B) each recorded 4 hits, while DH Julio Morban (2x5, R, HR, 2
RBI) recorded the teams only other multi-hit game. C John Hicks (1x5, 2 R, HR, 3 RBI) hit his first
home run of the season, a 3-run blast with 2 out in the 6th inning.
HITTING FOR THE CYCLE: Abraham Almonte (4x5, 2 R, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) completed the cycle
on Saturday night at Chattanooga. It was the first cycle in Jackson franchise history, dating back to
1998, when the Generals were known as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. But it was the 2nd cycle in
10 days for a Mariners prospect after Carlos Triunfel accomplished the feat for Triple-A Tacoma on
April 17. Almonte hit a solo homer in in the third inning, a bases-loaded triple in the 4th inning, and
singled in the 5th and got his 5th RBI of the evening. After being called out on strikes in the 6th
inning, Almonted lined a 2-2 pitch to right field for a double to complete the cycle.
OF NOTE: RHP Taijuan Walker has allowed only 2 earned runs in his last 5 starts (6 R), lowering
his season ERA from 7.20 to 1.54. Overall this season, he is 3-2 with a 1.54 ERA (6 ER, 35.0 IP) in
6 starts. He has limited opponents to a .150 (18x120) average, while walking 20 and striking out 39.
John Hicks has hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, batting .347 (17x49) with 8 runs scored, 3

RECAP: The Mavericks took and early 4-0 lead after the first inning and then scored 4 runs in the top of the 8th inning to come-from-behid
