Her mother died when she was 8 and her father remarried a sister of Mr Kanes wife. She learned millinery and dress-making. Her broken ankle bone created a divergence for Isabel from Levisons attentions at East Lynne. Sees resemblance Mr Wainwrightthe surgeon from West Lynne Dr. Martinof Lynneborough.
