Muhammad (PBUH)

Firstly I would like to begin by thanking you all for attending this special day, for granting me this opportunity to speak to you regarding a very famous, unparalleled character to all human beings. History testifies that He was born in the Year of the Elephants, the early Days of ignorance. I am not talking about a man who had a large group of servants, who owned a kingdom with vast treasures of gold and silver, who would come before His people wearing a crown and an expensive robe decorated with priceless jewels. Such is the lifestyle of countless kings throughout history before. Yes, His wealth was vast but it was spiritual. I am not talking about a ruler who threatened people at the edge of a gun, a ruler who kept firm on power by making people fear him, by making them feel terrified of His very name. Rather, I am speaking about one whose name is divinely protected, remembered and honoured in the Books of History which still exist today from approximately 14 centuries ago. He was an embodiment of mercy and He is recognised in the Books of History to be a Mercy for Mankind. I am not talking about a confused poet, a misguided philosopher or an unimaginative writer though Him being unlettered. I am talking about the most knowledgeable man to step foot on to this earth. A man whom it is said regarding that His status was unimaginable. It could not be measured and it was heavy upon scales. Respected audience, I am talking about a man who is none other than Muhammad (PBUH). It has been recorded in the Books of History regarding His noble character: Indeed, He was sent to you as a Perfect Example and for those who wished for good.

Muhammad (PBUH)
A Great Historian was once reported to have said: If greatness of purpose, smallness of means and astounding results are the 3 criteria of a human genius then who can dare to compare any great man in history with Muhammad (PBUH). The most famous people created alms, laws and empires only. They founded, if anything at all, no more than material powers which crumbled away before their eyes. Then, my guests, does it not take a man more great power to completely wipe these things from the surface of the Earth? This man moved not only armies, legislations, empires, people and dynasties, but millions of people in of the globe then inhabited the world, and more than that, he moved the altars, the gods, the religions, the ideas, the beliefs and souls. On the basis of a book, every letter which became law, he created a spiritual nationality which blended together every tongue, colour and every race. He left for us the blueprints for this society. Philosopher, Orator, Legislator, Apostle, Warrior, Conqueror of ideas, Restorer of rights, the founder of 20 terrestrial empires and 1 of the spiritual empires, and that Muhammad (PBUH) is the One I am speaking about. As regards all standards by which Human Greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any human greater than He? However, this same man born 14 centuries ago whom I speak about, 14 centuries later, people oppose Him for no solid reason whatsoever. They fabricate stories regarding him to such an extent; theyve even made and produced a film against Him. These statements are so untrue, so false and so evil. They call Him all sorts, a magician, a sorcerer and the list doesnt end. A man who was terrorised is being titled as a Terrorist. A man who was an embodiment of mercy doesnt deserve mercy.

Muhammad (PBUH)
Why? This isnt correct. It doesnt make sense at all. I guarantee you that every single being that has lived till this very minute has not experienced or faced the torture this man went through. Yet they call Him a Terrorist. Upon an occasion, He travelled miles through the scorching deserts of Arabia for one sole purpose, a purpose whish served humanity. He intended to save a nation from evil and wrongdoing by guiding them to a straight path where lies the bliss and comfort. He travelled to a place called Taif and preached for this sole purpose. But my respected guests, do you know what happened next? Do you know how these people retaliated? They never accepted Him. They didnt listen to what He had to say. Rather they chased Him, tormented Him and pelted Him with stones and pebbles. They had beaten Him to such an extent that He was bleeding from head to toe. The blood was so excess that His feet had got stuck to His sandals. A man who was terrorised was titled Terrorist. Does the story match His so-called Title? No. Of course, it doesnt. The recent news also revealed that US embassies were blown up after the production of the mockery film. I ask you the question, Was He a man who established justice and wiped out darkness or Was He a man who was a terrorist and wiped out the light of goodness from the world? Read the Books of History; ask a Historian, youll find the answer clear-cut. Finally, I would like to thank you all for lending me your ears for my speech. I also ask sincere forgiveness for any shortcomings. Aameen.
