Hi Experts, How to make budget check for an order based on creation date of PR in ME51N. Now the check is on delivery date. If the delivery date is in next year, we are getting budget exceeded error since no budget is maintained for that order. We have activated availability control in our system. Now system is checking Delivery date year for checking budget. How to make PR creation date as validation check?

Hi All, Can any one explain the link between KO24 and ME51N link? If we are not maintaining budget in KO24, we are getting ths budget exeec error. Can we make this error validation based on PR creation date rather than PR Delivery date? At present system is checking delivery date with budget maintained in internal order.

Can any one tell me which is the user exit being called at the time of budget check for internal orders? Can we change the condition in program? We want to make validation based on PR creation date instead of PR Delivery date?

I am not sure if there exists any config for the same.. Ideally, the budget that did not get consumed in current year must be carried fwd to the next year... You must execute KOCO and KOCF at year end

At month end we are carry forwarding the budget. But at the start of december, if we raise a PR which is supposed to be delivered in next year, this budget error pop up is getting displayed. Is it a standard functionality to check budget control based on PR delivery date? Can we change it to PR creation date?

Hi Sibin,

I think in Internal Oreder Availability control it is not possible however if go for funds management it is possible.
