Fiqh among 4 Contemporary Imams Bin Baz, Ibn Uthaymeen, Al-Albany and Muqbil

Part Two

Touching the Quran while in minor or major impurity Bin Baz and Al-Uthaymeen view it's not permissible to touch the Quran while in this state. Al-Albany and Muqbil view it's permissible

Can a woman on her menses stay in a masjid ? Bin Baz held the opinion that women on their periods cannot stay in the masjid. Uthaymeen views that if she has her menses she can stay in the masjid ,as long as she makes wudu first. Al-Albani and Muqbil both view its permissible for a woman to stay in the masjid during her menses. Shaykh Muqbil also added she can attend classes as well.

Must a woman undo her hair when taking a ghusl after menses? Bin Baz and Muqbil both recommend the woman to undo her hair Uthaymeen views it's not obligatory Al-Albany views its a must for her to undo her hair. He said the ghusl for a man and women are alike. Hence she must undo her braids.

PRAYER
The verdict on abandoning the prayer Bin Baz, Uthaymeen and Muqbil all consider the person who doesnt pray to be a disbeliever. Al-Albany considers the person who doesnt pray, because of laziness to be a sinner, not Kafir. The Athan and Iqamah for a woman Bin Baz and Muqbil view it's not legislated for her call the Athan or Iqmah. Uthaymeen and Al-Albany view it's permissible. This should be done in her home though. The women's feet in prayer is Awrah? Bin Baz and Al-Albani view it's a must for the woman to cover her feet while praying. Uthaymeen views its not a must, but it's better if she covered them while praying. Muqbil viewed as long as men couldnt see her feet it would be okay, and there wasnt any sound text which prohibited her from praying with her feet uncovered.

Must the people praying behind the Imam recite Al-Fatihah Bin baz, Uthaymeen, Muqbil agree that the person praying behind the Imam must read Al-Fatihah. Al-Albani views that people praying behind the imam should read al-Fatihah in silent prayers. i.e Thur and Asr and not in Maghrib, Isha and Fajr.

Is Taheeyatul Masjid wajib or Sunnh? Bin Baz and Uthaymeen consider Taheeyatul Masjid a stressed Sunnah, but not obligatory. Al-Albany and Muqbil consider this prayer a must. i.e wajib.

Placing the hands on the chest after Ruku' Bin Baz and Uthaymeen consider placing the hands on the chest after Ruku sunnah. Al-Albany considers it an innovation Muqbil refrained from taking a position. In other words, he doesnt consider it sunnah or Bid'ah.
