The Registrars of all Universities in Gujarat State Sub:Sir, With reference to above and on the decision of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi on the introduction of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission in the post graduate MBA/MCA programmes, it has been decided by the State Government that only CMAT scores will be considered for admission in post graduate MBA/MCA management programs in all AtCTE approved MBA/MCA institutions and State universities in Gujarat State from the academic year 2013-14 onwards and those students, who would be pursuing MBA/MCA admissions in AICTE approved institutions and State universities in Gujarat State, shall have to be registered for CMAT -2013-14, for which the registration is now open and the details of the same can be availed in AICTE website WoNW.aicte-cmat.in. As the matter is of important nature and need to give wide publicity amongst the students immediately, this office and Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad have given press note and advertisements in this regard through leading Newspapers.
