Scene 1 The Road to Castle Dracula Jonathan Harker is a lawyer and he lives in London. About seven years ago, some strange and terrible things happened to him and his dear friend. He got a letter from Transylvania, the letter from a rich man called Count Dracula. Count Dracula asked him to find an old house for him. Jonathan Dracula Jonathan : Hi, Count Dracula, right? All the people stopped talking. They began to talk. Jonathan heard the name Dracula and vampire. Then Jonathan opened the book that Mina had given to him.

Jonathan : Vampires are man and woman who never die. Vampires have long, sharp teeth. Everyone in Transylvania fears vampire (Jonathan read the book and shut the book quickly). No Im not believe the stories! People 2 Jonathan People 3 : Must you go to Castle Dracula? Do not go to that terrible place! : I have important business with the Count : Then take this! After the people had moved Jonathan believe it. : Who was this man I was going to meet? Did Dracula have strange powers? I could not

The sky was dark and there is a terrible sound. Suddenly there was an man with an old bicycle People 4 People 5 Jonathan People 5 Jonathan People 4 : I come from Castle Dracula, where is the Englishman? : you look the Englishman in here? : Here! And suddenly, the journey was over. Jonathan had arrived at Castle Dracula. Scene 2 A Prisoner in the Castle He looked up at high Castle walls. There were no light in any window. In front of him was a great wooden door. There was a very fat man and his wife were standing here Dracula : Welcome to my home. Enter castle Dracula Mr. Harker

Draculas wife : Yes, Mr.Harker. I wish you were happy in this Castle Dracula : When you are ready, my dear friend. I shall be waiting for you

Draculas wife : Im hope you can spent in this Castle for a long Jonathan : oh yes, but I have work in England too. So I cant much a long in here. Hmm.. I was very hungry, I was tired and I began to feel very iil Dracula : okay, lets have dinner! Then after dinner, time for you to sleep

At night, Jonathan had strange and terrible dream. When he wake up, it was late in the morning. Then Jonathan found the note from Count in the table. you can go anywhere in the castle. But some doors are looked. Do not try to open them Jonathan woke up very early. In the room there was no mirror. Jonathan Dracula : fortunately, I had brought a small shaving mirror : Good Morning, friend. (voice behind Jonathan)

Jonathan was surprised that razor slipped and cut himself. Draculas reflection didnt seem in the mirror. The count saw the blood on Jonathans face. He made a strange sound and his hands moved toward Jonathans throat. Dracula : Take care. Its dangerous to cut your self in Castle Dracula. And this mirror is not needed here. (with threw the mirror) Jonathan just confused saw the accident happened Scene 3 The Vampires Then one day, Jonathan found a room with an unlocked door. Jonathan felt very tired and went into the room. It was getting dark and slowly changed into the shapes of three young beautiful woman. Jonathan couldnt move. He felt afraid and his body felt heavy. Vampire 1 Vampire 2 Vampire 3 : Hi boy. You look so interesting. Im not strong to stand my passion : Oh.. you looked so handsome : There will be kisses for us all

The vampire smiled, her teeth, white, and sharp. Her teeth touched Jonathans throat. There was a sudden shout. Count Dracula had come into the room and pulled the woman away from Jonathan Dracula Vampire 4 Dracula : Get back! He is mine. How dare you touch him? : Oh, you are cruel (with a terrible laugh) have you never been in love? : you know, I have Tomorrow, Dracula : My dear, Mr Harker. I am happy to have you as my guest. But I know you want to see your Mina again. Write what I tell you and Mina will get your letter At different time, Jonathan : what must I do? Was I prisioner in the castle? I was terrible afraid.

At the last of the letter, Jonathan told Mina that he had left the Castle Then at was 29 th June. That night, Count Dracula spoke with Jonathan. Dracula : My dear friend, you and I must part. Tomorrow I must go to England. Perhaps one day we shall meet again. Jonathan in his mind : what did he mean? Then Jonathan decided to follow Dracula to his room. He went in and looked the door behind him. Jonathan heard a window open, Jonathan looked out of a window. Jonathan could see the window, Dracula came out of the window and moved the wall. Jonathan back to his room and looked again at book about Transylvania Jonathan : Vampire always hunted and killed at night. But during at the days, vampire lost their strange powers. Finally, Jonathan decide went to Count Draculas room at during the day. There was nothing in the room expect a great heap of golden coin. One box was covered and Jonathan lifted the lid. There on a heap of earth. Lay Count Dracula! His white hair was now dark grey. His thin, white face was fat and red. Fresh blood from his lips, the smell of blood. The vampire was resting after his meal. Then Jonathan heard them pulling the boxes along the ground. A door was shut and looked. Tomorrow when Jonathan will see the draculas room, the body of Dracula in boxes nothing. Count Dracula was on his way to England and Jonathan locked inside his castle! Jonathan ran and ran to out of the Castle and going to England. Scene 4 A visit to Hythe In England, Mina : Was Jonathan ill? Why did he not return to England?

Lucy : Be rileks, please! Nothing bad happen with Jonathan. Arthur is in Amsterdam, he is staying with Prof. Van Helsing, his old teacher. Come and stay with me until your Jonathan return. Hythe is not far from London, right? The sea air will be good for you Finally, Mina travelled down to Hythe the following day. Mina and Lucy slept in the same bedroom. An one day, at night. Mina heard a noise and wake up. Lucys bed was empty and the bedroom door was open. Lucy was nowhere in the house. Mina ran and reached Lucy. Mina thought saw a white face and two red eyes. When Mina disappear Lucy was alone. Mina took her back to the house. She saw two red marks on Lucys throat. Tomorrow, Mina : You looking so ill. How about I call Arthur?

Arthur : I returned from Amsterdam about a week after you left Hythe. By that time, Lucy was very ill. Her face was very pale and she was very thin. Mina : Was Lucy still leaving her bed at night?

Arthur : Yes, when Van Helsing arrived. Lucy was to ill to get out of bed. He told me that Lucy had lost a lot a blood Jonathan Arthur Mina : Oh God, were there any marks on Lucys throat? Small red marks? : Yes, how did you kow? The marks worried Prof. Van Helsing very much : Did the blood help Lucy?

Arthur : Yes, in the morning she was well and happy. Prof. Van Helsing visited her and brought lots of garlic. He put them around Lucys neck Arthur : Then one night, I went to visit a sick child. But in the morning the house was silent. I ran to bedroom, Lucy lay on the bed with her eyes closed. The garlic flowers a way from her neck too. When Prof. Van Helsing saw Lucy. Lucy opened her eyes. She looked at me and smile. Arthur Mina Arthur : she did not look like Lucy at all : Poor Lucy, did the poor girl die peacefully? : Yes, thank God. I kissed her and her long black hair. Then Lucy is at peace now Mina looked at her husband. Had Dracula been drinking Lusys blood? Was she a vampire too? Scene 6 The Beautiful Lady of Hythe After a few days. Arthur returned to his lonely house in Hythe. At England Jonathan and Mina read the newspaper everyday. The Beautiful Lady of Hythe- the young mother of Hythe is very afraid. Something very strange is happening in this little town by the sea. Some young children have disappeared from their house. They were pale and had red marks on their throat. Was it the beautiful Lady? What had made the marks on the childrens neck? There have been no answering to these question. Jonathan : I will send a telegram to Prof. Van Helsing at once. He is the only man who can help us and poor Lucy too. Mina Prof. : thank you for your coming quickly. : we do not have much time That night Jonathan told Professor about Castle Dracula Prof : you were lucky to get away from Castle Dracula. Vampires have terrible powers. Count Dracula is the most powerfull of them Jonathan : what does he plan to do here? Can we stop him?

Prof : I studied their history. They live on blood, which they take from living people. But vampires stay alive after they have been buried. Their victims die when they have lost all their blood. Then they become vampire too. Mina : That is what happened to poor Lucy. Is there anything we can do?

Prof : We have to do three things to stop vampires. First, we must open Lucys muffin. Then gyre must hammer a sharp piece of wood through her heart. Lastly, her head must be cut off. Then she can rest forever. Mina and Jonathan : dear Lucy, how terrible Prof : After we have helped Lucy, we must fight the Count Dracula. No one in England is safe until the greatest vampire of all is destroyed. Arthur and Jonatan,and Van Helsing went to the churchyard late last night Prof Arthur Jonathan : Look carefully : My god,coffin is empty .Where is my wife? : Lucy needs blood. She is looking for another victim

Van Helsing led them go to a dark park of churh yard Arthur Lucy :My god ,it is Lucy! :Arthur ,my love ,come to me ,come to me now ,and never leave me When lucy saw the cross she stopped smiling .She became cruel and angry Arthur :Oh god

Prof Van Helsing:It is the vampire ! not the dear woman you love.give my bag.Jonathan! Van Helsing opened his bag,he looked out a long ,sharp stake and a hammer Prof : I shall hold the take and point it at her heart. The white dress became red as the shake went into Lucys body Prof : Look! Now she is at the peace! Now you can kiss your wife Then Jonathan and Prof. Van helsing worked together to cut off Lucys head Prof : Oh.. we have begun our work. But we have not finished it. Now we must find Count Dracula. We must destroy him forever. Scene 7 The House of the Vampire

After they had left the vault, they met to make their plans. Prof :We all in danger, Dracula must know that he has enemies in England. He will soon find out and he will attrack us Arthur Jonathan? : Why dont we attack him first? We must go to his house together. Where is his house,

Jonathan : I cant remember. I think Dracula has made me forget. In office the paper about draculas address nothing too. Prof : Dracula has taken the paper. He knows, he is in danger. He knows we are his enemies. But vampire has no power during daylight, Dracula in one of the boxes in Transylvania. They must be in his house. Prof Jonathan Prof : If you agree, I shall hypnotize you. Then you cant remember where draculas house. : Yes, I agree. Im ready (his eyes closed, he began to breathe more slowly) : Count Dracula has a house near London. Where is it, jonathan?

Jonathan : The count is living to the east of London, his house is very big and very cold. There is a high wall round it. Prof Jonathan Prof : How do you get there? : The nearest railway station. : What is the name of the station?

Jonthan : Its difficult to remember. The is coming back, a golden mist. I can see red eyes, they are looking for me Prof much time Arthur : Wake up, jonathan !!!!! you are i danger, Dracula knew what I was doing. We do not

: What shall we do?

Prof : We must get into draculas house and look for the boxes. You must stay here, Mina. Dracula is not far away. Remember what happened to Lucy Jonathan Prof : We cannot leave Mina here on her own : She will be safe

Finally, Van Helsing, Jonathan, and Arthur arrived at the Transylvania. But the daylight had almost gone.

: It is dark. We are late : Dracula will have left the house. While he is away, we will destroy his resting places They enter the house slowly

The men worked for many hours. One by one, the boxes were opened. The two young men worked together while van helsing stood on the door, he held a cross in his hand. Jonatahn and Arthur had one more box to open. Suddenly van Helsing gace a cry. Prof : The Count! The Count! The vampire is coming back. We have no more time. Leave the last box and follow me! One box was left unopened. They ran to the window. They heard a terrible cry. Count Dracula was coming toward them. He was angry. When the vampire saw Jonathan, he jumped like a wild animal. But Van Helsing stood in front of Jonathan and held up his cross. Dracula stepped back. Dracula now? : You cannot stop me! I am Dracula! I have fought armies. How can three men stop me

Suddenly the house full of strange mist. The three friends got out the window and ran across the garden. Prof : we must get back to Mina. She may be in danger

They caught a train to London. When they reached Jonathans house, it was quiet. Jonathan opened his door quietly and then he gave a terrible cry. His friends ran into the room. The bedroom window was open. Mina was on balcony and a dark shape was leaning over her. It was Dracula! But the vampire was not drinking Minas blood. He was making her drink his blood. And he had already taken his meal of blood. Dracula will anger but Van Helsing held his cross up high. Then it was dark. Dracula had gone. Mina saw Jonathan, she began to cry and cry. Prof Mina Jonathan : My dear, Mina. You are safe now. Can you tell us what happened? : Oh, Jonathan. Why did you leave me? : I thought you were safe

Mina : I was slepping. I was dreaming. I saw a cloud of golden dust. I saw red eyes. Something woke me. It was a sound of a crying child. I opened the window and walked to balcony. Then suddenly,

he was standing beside me. I saw a Dracula. He smiled and said nothing can help you now. You are in my power (Mina covered her face with her hands) Mina : Then he put his lips to my throat and drank my blood. I could not stop him. And I have drunk his blood. I am a vampire too! Jonathan Mina : No ! no !! : The vampire has won!

Prof : No! I am sure of it, he cannot stay in England now. He will use the last box. Sleep now, Mina. You must rest Mina : I have drunk the Counts blood and I am in his power. We can use the power to destroy him. (Mina closed her eyes and try to think what draculas plan later) Mina : Its dark, I can hear moving water. Oh the vampires power is strong. I hear a ship an d men shouting. The ship is ready to leave. I cant tell you anymore. Jonathan : We have won! The vampire is leaving Englad. We are safe now.

Prof :Have you forgotten? Mina was drunk the vampires blood. If Mina dies before Dracula is destroyed, she will be a vampire forever Chapter 8 The Flight of the Vampire Count draculas plan had failed. In Transylvania he would be safe. If the vampire reached castle Dracula he could rest and grow strong again. And while he lived, Mina was in terrible danger. Count Dracula had to be destroyed before he reached his castle. The count Dracula go there by ship. The three men began to make their plans at once. Mina was resting in her room. Arthur Prof plans. Jonathan Prof Jonathan Arthur Transylvania. Then, the four friends began their journey acroos Europe. They took the fastest trains. Professor Van Helsing hypnotized Mina everyday. Mina : Everything is dark, I can hear the wind. I hear the sound of moving water

Arthur everyday reach the news of the ship that count Draculas transport. Then at last news came. When Arthur told the others, his face was white. Arthur Jonathan : The ship arrived at Transylvania at one oclock today. My God! What shall we do? : We must go more quikly!

Mina : What will Dracula do? Will he go to castle Dracula by water or by land? Prof! hypnotize me. I shall tell you what I can (prof. agree) Mina : I hear the sound of water.the water is moving fast. I hear birds singing. Its dark, dark .. icannot tell you anymore. His power is too strong

Scene 9 The Return o Castle Dracula They were nearer to Dracula now Mina was pale and ill. Sometimes she could not answer Van Helsings questions The professor took Mina to a hotel to rest while Arthur and Jinatahn tried to get news of Dracula. Prof: We must stop Dracula before he reaches the Castle! Jonathan: We must go up the river after him! Prof: You and Arthur must do that, Mina and I will go by land to Castle Dracula. We will get there before the vampire. Prof and Mina went by train. Mine slept all day and Van Helsing not wake her up. But, as soon at night, she wake up. Mina was was pale and thin. Her face was changing. She was becoming more and more like a vampire. Would Mina die before Dracula could be destroyed? Prof. Van Helsing and Mina arrived at the mountain road to astle Dracula. At nigth, Prof. Van Helsing took a rest and made a circle fire to Mina to protect the body as the mist moved in the wind, it changed into four beautiful women. The were the four vampires that Jonathan sawin Castle Dracula.

Vampire 1: Come sister, Come! Vampire 2: you are like us now(But Mina turned away and the vampire couldnt enter the circle) Vampre 3: Come on, sister! Vampire 4: Lets enjoy your life in our life! Everday, all night the called to Mina. But, when the dawn came the beautiful women changed back into mist. Mine slept. After several day.... Mina: Prof., I want to tell you something. Its about the vampires. Prof: what did they do to you? Mina: Everynight , they call my name and i cant help it at all. Prof: Ok, I will make a bigger and stronger circle fire Mina: Thank you, Prof. Prof. made a circle fire and said some prayer. Prof: The devil will gone, the devil will be against by the good. All their power will fade away.

He left Mina sleeping inside the circle. Before left the castle Professor told Mina to not to go out from the Circle. Prof: Mina, dont go out or walk away from this circle. It will be dangerous for you.now, I will continue my journey. Take care of yourself, Mina. Mina: Ok, Prof., be careful and please save my dear, Jonathan. Then the old proffesor started to walk up the narrow route to Castle Dracula. He felt the vampire,s power arround him. Prof: (inside of his mind) I feel vampire,s power here. I have to find the source of it. At last, he reached the terrible building. Prof.: What place is it? The smell is terrible. And this palce is full of tombs. One tomb was bigger than the ohers. On it was written the name DRACULA. When Van Helsing opened, he saw it was empty. Then, Van Helsing found the tombs of four women vampires. They looked very beautiful. He took sharp stakes and hammered them through the vampires hearts. The, Prof. Van Helisng cut off their heads. The vampire changed. There was nothing in the tombs but dust. Afterthat, Pof. Van Helsinng back to Mina to leave the terrible place. Mina: My husband is ear! I must go to Jonathan! Along the road a cart was, moving quickly. On the cart was a huge woode box. Dracula was returning to his castle! Mina: Look! Behind the cart was two men on horses Mina: it is Jonathan and Arthur. (Cried) And they are moving faster than the cart. Prof: Dracula must be destroyed before the light has gone. Arthur and Jonathan ran ran and ran to get the cart. At last, the two friends reached the cart. The driver tried to hit Artur. But Jonathan pulled the men down from the cart. The light had almost gone. Jonathan jumped into cart. He get the box. The broke open. There lay Count Dracula. Dracula gave a terrible cry. Dracula: (Cry) Dont kill me please.... i promise I wont destroy your life again

Jonathan: Sorry, Count I have to kill you right now. I dont believe ypu at all. Youve ruined my life so much, killed my beloved friend, make a suffer. Blood must be paid with blood too! Draculla: Please, Dont!(scream, Jonathans knife on Dracula,s heart ) The vampires: oh, pretty boy, dont kill us. Were begging for you. Arthur: Ohh calm down, three women I wont kill you but, Ill make your life end up forever. Then, Arthurr rope knife cut through the vampires throat. Ther was silence. Count Dracula,s body was a heap of dust. Mina ran down the road and Jonathan took his dear wife in his arm. Mina: (run) John, John. Are you allright? Ive been worried thinking of you. Jonathan: Im ok, my dear Mina. See? The vampires were dead. The years of blood and fear were over. Arhtur: Wow, seems like a perfect couple in fairytale.(Laugh) Prof: Arthur, we shouldnt tease them. Let them be! Jonathan: its ok, Prof. were now a family. Thank you for helping me. All: (Laugh)

Finally, the lived happily ever after.
