ANIMAL FARM

The film "Animal Farm" talks about a history of a farm where there is a human named Mr. Jones. He didnt care and didnt feed the animals. He was always drunk. One day Old Major calls the animals on the farm for a meeting, where he compares the humans to parasites and teaches the animals a revolutionary song. But old Major dies, and Snowball and Napoleon take the command. The animals see that there isnt food and they organize together to fight versus Mr. Jones. After they rename the farm Animal Farm". Some animals try to learn reading and writing with help of Snowball, the food is plentiful, but the pigs elevate themselves in their positions of leadership. Snowball worked in a good plan and he challenges Napoleon for control of Animal Farm, Napoleon uses the dogs to attack Snowball. Using a young pig named Squealer as a mouthpiece; Napoleon announces that Snowball stole the idea for the windmill from him. Snowball is named traitor by Napoleon and the pigs become the leader of Animal Farm. The animals work harder with the promise of easier lives with the windmill. After a violent storm, the animals find the windmill destroyed. Napoleon and Squealer convince the animals that Snowball destroyed the windmill. Boxer was a horse who always said "Ill work harder". Mr. Jones tries to retake his farm, but the animals dont allow it. In Snowballs missing, Napoleon declares himself leader and takes the power. He abuses of his power, making life harder for the animals. The pigs impose more control, and change the seven rules. Squealer justifies every statement Napoleon makes, even the pigs alteration of the seven rules. "No animal shall sleep in beds" is changed to "No animal shall sleep in beds with sheets" when the pigs are discovered to have been sleeping in the old farmhouse. "No animal shall drink alcohol" is changed to "No animal shall drink alcohol to excess" when the pigs discover the farmer's whisky. Now they like humans because they use clothes, they learn to walk only in two feet, besides they drink whisky. Boxer the horse dies and Benjamin realizes it. All the animals realize about the situation but Napoleon with the other pigs have the power with help of the dogs. Finally the seventh rule is replaced with "All the animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" The animals fight again but now versus Napoleon and the pigs because they like humans so much. This history shows the imposition of power in some governments, where the majority work a lot of and receive a few.
