With just one week to go until Celebr8.

2, we now have great pleasure in announcing the full festival lineup, ticket and travel details For 2013, we have spread the net wider and have a number of international acts playing in the UK for the first time. On Saturday May 11 th , highly acclaimed Chicago-based band District 97 , who recently released their highly acclaimed album Trouble With Machines, will be part of the fabulous opening days lineup. District 97 drummer Jonathan Schang had this to say about playing Celebr8, The music that came out of England in the 60s and 70s was my primary inspiration for becoming a musician in the first place. It has always been a ling0held dream of mine to both visit and perform where all of that wonderful music came from and being invited to play Celebr8 with such like minded artists at last gives me that opportunity. The opening day also features IO Earth (hot off their storming performance on Cruise to the Edge, the Yes Prog Cruise) and with their last album Moments faring very strongly in the top albums of 2012 polls Frost* need little or no introduction as their manically original take on rock and prog has earned them thousands of devoted fans and a reputation for putting fun and intelligence back into music, as their sold out Scala Christmas show with It Bites (headliners at last years Celebr8) proved. As many may have seen in the music media this week, their performance was almost scuppered by vocalist/keyboard wizard Jem Godfrey breaking his finger. However, their appearance was saved by The Tangents Andy Tillison coming to the rescue to aid Jem on keyboards. On top of this the band are currently hard at work on a new album and have confirmed that Celebr8.2 will be their only show in 2013. Headliners Threshold will be closing the first day at Celebr8.2 with their unique brand of heavy prog riffs and soaring dynamics. Fronted by Damien Wilson, one of the greatest voices in rock or prog and regular vocalist of the year award winner, their set is assured to close day one on an absolute high. Between main stage acts, there will be acoustic performance on the second stage. Saturdays acoustic acts are: The multi talented multi instrumentalist Mark Spencer (Galahad, Twelfth Night & Alan Reed acoustic). He will be a busy boy as the next acoustic act will be Galahad, performing a special take on their most recent material and then finally we have a very special acoustic set from Knifeworld who will be as quirky, original and mental as ever On Sunday May 12 th, Celebr8.2 has landed the major coup of the first ever UK appearance of Canadas Mystery. Fronted by Benoit David who replaced Jon Anderson in Yes for the recording of Fly From Here and the world tour following its release, Mystery have themselves just released their latest album The World Is A Game, to universal critical acclaim. Michel St Pre has sent this special message to the bands UK fans. On behalf of Benoit, myself and the Mystery live band, I want to tell you that

we are all very happy and excited to be playing our first ever UK show at Celebr8 2.0. The World is a Game is going extremely well in the UK and it is an honour for us to finally be able to play our fans. Sunday at Celebr8.2 features the first ever electric show by ex-Pallas frontman Alan Reed with his all new electric band The Daughters of Expediency. Along with Mystery, Spanish band Harvest will also be playing their debut UK show and following the release of their latest album Chasing Time along with reports and reviews of them at the Dutch Marillion weekender they are set to go down an absolute storm. Next up will be fast rising metal proggers Haken , recently signed to Inside Out and working on their 3 rd album. They are causing a storm wherever they play and their stunning musicianship and vocals combined with their fire and energy will ensure they are a hard act for anyone to follow. Then following the aforementioned Mystery are Sunday headliners and festival closers Arena. Formed by: Pendragon keyboard player Clive Nolan and ex Marillion drummer and founder Mick Pointer. Arena also feature guitarist John Mitchell (It Bites, Frost* and many others) and bass player John Jowitt (ex IQ, Ark and Uriah Heep). The line-up is completed by vocalist Paul Manzi and with a new live DVD Rapture just released, Arena are without doubt a prog super group and a perfect closing act for Celebr8.2 As with with Day One there will be acoustic performances from Matt Stevens, Andy Tillison, a joint set by Matt and Andy and Simon Godfrey (performing songs from his Shineback album).
