Minutes of the Board of Directors Meeting, May 2013


The following board members were present: Melissa Wittmer (President), Lorna Hammock (Vice President), Jennifer Choi (Treasurer), Jackie Campbell (Secretary), Bob Sheldon (Pool & Tennis Courts), Charles Hyde (Architectural), Edd Linegar (Neighborhood Watch), Terry Ebrecht (Clubhouse). Resident Tony Hammock was present. I. Old Business: ! A. Review of minutes of the April 2013 meeting: amendment to minutes to include attendance of Bob Sheldon. VP to send Secretary email. Approved upon motion and second. II. Committee Reports: A. Treasurer - Jennifer Choi: Financial synopsis distributed and explained. Motion to approve lien ling on properties with delinquent HOA dues made and seconded. Motion carried. B. Clubhouse - Terry Ebbrecht: ! Update on rentals: Water on and xed. Two June rentals coming up. Went live with rentals on June 1st. ! ! Discuss automating rental process. Google calendar being used by pool rental resident volunteer (Terry Ebrecht). C. Architectural Control - Charles Hyde: ! Update on iron fence in disrepair: To be xed this week.

! Update on fence that was burned on March 28th, 2013 at property at 2369 West Katella fence border: Repaired. ! Discussion regarding covenant violation of 6 ft. fence at 3902 S Jewell Court: Board determined that secretary shall review the covenants and advise the board. Matter tabled until next board meeting. D. Neighborhood Watch Report - Edd Liniger: Fence damage at 3619 Burge near water retention area falling down. Charles Hyde to investigate.

E. Pool and Tennis Courts - Bob Sheldon: ! ! Bob to contact vendor to x bricks in disrepair at tennis court. Pool passes: Three still out. Cut off is this week.

! Buster Crabb Pools is in process of opening pool and making necessary retro ts to pump system. All on schedule. ! Pool monitor: Same individual used in the past will take the post this year. Wages to be same as last year, $8.00 per hour. ! Pool planters: Ed will be completing. Damon to mulch grounds and remove the rocks from plumbing issue. ! Pool Deck Opinions & Bids: Buster Crabbe inspected and recommended replacement of overlay & referred board to Tidwell. Jackie to call two other overlay vendors to give opinions and bids and work with Bob to get them completed. ! Electrical issue with irrigation: Bob is having vendor look into repair.

F. NeighborWoods Program: No planting due to weather. III. New Business A. Annual social & pool opening: Annual social to be held June 22, Saturday. Opening pool morning May 22. B. Spring cleaning: Jackie to call Basic Maids to give a bid to clean the clubhouse. Ask if they want to do an ad in the news letter.
