Engineering Graphics - Video course

COURSE OUTLINE Drawing is commonly used mode of communication in engineering industry. Appropriate exposure to drawing helps the students to translate different ideas into practical applications. Acquisition of drafting skill is used to make the drawing of a given object or component which makes others can understand and interpret. Hence drawing is regarded as a pre-requisite for engineering graduates. With these objectives in view, the following topics have been covered. Introduction to Engineering drawing, line types, lettering and dimensioning, Free hand sketch, Plane Geometry, Projection of points, lines, traces and planes, Auxiliary views, Projection of solids, Sections of solids, Interpenetration of solids, Development of surfaces, Orthographic projections, Sectional views, Isometric projections and Introduction to CAD.
