Design
Purpose: transformation of a black-tarred roof to a peaceful garden complete with blue stone pavers, a wooden deck and an area of live grass. Custom
planters, an eating area and bamboo screens are also being added to this well thought out city oasis. Learning Outcome
With this precedents study: - I have learnt the role of project management, in terms of the design phase to the final outcome. - Different combination of material may enhance the environment. - Minimizing the wastage of material throughout the construction process. - Good used of the local material. - Consideration of environmental issues.
Limitation
- It does not meant for public usage. - Less consideration on lighting design scheme, which will somehow affect the usage and aesthetic of the space during the nighttime. - It doesn't apply much sustainable technology.
